Hi Casey, to reset your phone is very easy you can follow few steps and perform reset on your phone. Let me provide you the steps, let me remind you before you reset the phone that you will be losing all of your personal information in the phone.
Power off the phone
Press and hold Vol+ key and Power key simultaneously until several blue
sentences appear on the screen which are reboot system now; apply update from
sdcard; wipe data/factory reset; wipe cache
Use Vol+ key and Vol- key to move the cursor to "wipe data/factory reset" and press camera key to confirm it.
There are many words "No" and one sentence "Yes -- delete all user data". Use
Vol+ key and Vol- key to move the cursor to "Yes -- delete all user data". Press
camera key to confim it.
The phone will finish the reseting by itselft after
about 10 seconds later and then the cursor will be on "reboot system now" and
press camera key to confirm it. The phone will reboot automatically. There is no
unlock and password any more after the phone is on. If after performing reset still your phone is locked than you can call the manufacture they will be able to help you with this issue.
Welcome to Fixya. If the you don't know the lock code you can try the steps below so that you can reset the phone to it's factory state.
1. Power off phone.
2. Hold camera button and power on phone at the same time.
3. Release the camera button when prompted to.
4. You will see a message screen telling you to press the up or down volume button
5. Press and HOLD the down volume key (ignore message 'Volume Up Key Pressed')
6. When triangle and phone screen appears
7. Press on the screen just above the back key
8. You will now see the "Motorola system recovery" menu
At this point you will have three choices:
1. reboot system now [Menu+Back]
2. apply ssdcrad:update.zip [Alt+S]
3. wipedata/factory reset [Alt+W]
Select the third option to do a factory reset.
You can simply tap an item to select it.
If it got wet, you can bring it to any Apple Store. Nine times out of ten they will replace it for $150 to $200 dollars. Unless they determine it is a manufacturers defect and you are still under warranty, then you want have to pay anything. they will usually just replace it for you.
Otherwise, you may have to pay up to $200 for a replacement.
Hope this helps...Let me know...
First thing you should try is holding a bright flashlight to the screen when it is turned on, if you do this in a dark room it might allow you to see the screen, if not follow these steps.

3. press menu
4. press down twice
5. press enter
6. press up once
7. press enter, wait a sec press enter again.
hopefully that will work
