Palm Tx keeps short circuiting

there is a option in your mobile ' set default' ok to it.

then you mean than the sync is itself not successful ..

am i right?

according to the last firmware update they still do not support SDHC. I have a Palm TX also so I've been keeping a lookout. Sorry!

It sounds like the battery might be dead. If I were you I would take advantage of the free chat that palm provides to their customers. I have used it in the past always with good results. I am including a link to that page. Best wishes.

The Palm TX is notorious for digitizer failure which is what it sounds like you have. The are 3rd party solutions such as power digi which you can google. However it seems that the best method will be to replace the digitizer with a glass one. The plastic digitizer that Palm originally installed is not very reliable over time. There is a seller on e-bay that specializes in this and other Palm repairs. I believe it's called itsnotthere. You can also try to do it yourself. There are numerous demos on the internet that show how to do this if you are handy. Hope this helps.

assuming that you use your palm tx on a windows xp system, files from the emails could be corrupted. are you using palm desktop or outlook?
if you are using palm desktop, you can rename the back-up folder to old and try to resync

I had a similar same problem. It occured when pluging or unpluging in the USB cable into the bottom of the Palm TX when the other end of the cable was already pluged into a live USB port on my PC.
The solution was to make sure the cable is unpluged first from your PC before you plug or unplug the cable into the bottom of your Palm TX.

I followed the instructions posted by bab2000 in brighthand.com. I pressed the UP scroll button and then press and release the reset button. It took awhile and several tries but it worked. I then hotsynced and voila I am enjoying my palm TX again.

I would reinstall the system software from the Palm CD. If you are using the TX cable, it could be bad.
