Network driver AM37

Hello here is the fic download page:

http://www.fic.com.tw/download/motherboards.aspx

The model of your mainboard is not to be found here.

But the mainboard was fitted in this pc here:

http://support.gateway.com/us/en/emac/product/default.aspx?modelId=1427

Try to download the LAN driver, but please unzip the file before you install.

If the driver is not working, visit the PC homepage (not the mainboard) for downloading the driver.

Best of luck

Does an emachine w2047 motherboard have a 4 pin

Hi

Thank you for your query

Your motherboard is a AM37, this does not have a 4 pin connector so therfore you do not need to connect it of the power supply

If this has been useful please leave postive feedback/vote/testimonial - Thank You Again

Usbs not working. am37 motherboard. Updated to the newest bios that I could find (Bios 3.20). Compaq Presario 6400NX. Im running 1gb of ram.

Remove bios battery and erase new bios (usually a pair of pins to short). If USBs now work - don't upgrade bios! If bios settings have no setting for diabling USB, motherboard failrure seems likely. Try a PCI USB card to provide sockets.

Is It required to connect Tower Front Panel I/O to Motherboard

The power button on the front panel would definitely need to be hooked up to the motherboard so you can power up the computer.

If you have any usb slots or a media card reader on the front panel, or both, then you would need to hook those up as well, otherwise the main one you need to connect would be the power button.

NO VIDEO

Are you using the onboard video or a display card adaptor?

1. If you are using the onboard video then try installing a known working PCI or AGP display card to test if the problem is onboard video or the actual motherboard.

2. If you are using a display card then try another known working display card (PCI or AGP) to test whether it's your displaycard that is faulty.

3. If it still doen't work then try removing your memory modules on the motherboard and replace them with known working memory.

4. If it still doesn't work then try removing your CPU and reinserting it again (be carefull as you do not want to damage your CPU!).

5. If it is still not working then you may need to replace your motherboard or take your PC into a repair facility.

Thanks
C

Power for HP554e

I will try to help you. Locate a 10-pin connector below your backup battery. This connector has only 9 pins. It has four pins on the top and 5 pins on the bottom. Connect connector from your power button to the top row pins 6 and 8. Look at the diagram below I marked connection points with the “+” sign.

2 4 6 8
0 0 + +
0 0 0 0 0
1 3 5 7 9

Just for your references. Pins 2-4 for Power LED, 1-3 for Hard Drive LED, 5-7 for Reset Button.

Regards
