Flash drive with data on

-   I have had my Lexar Lightning 1G flashdrive for 6 mths. It was great until recently when I loaded it with graphic files. It held the files and I was able to transfer them to my external hard drive. Now I try to put other files on it and it tells me I have no more room on the drive. I throw out everything that is on the drive and it still says there is only a few KB's left on the drive.
The Lexar website gives no information to help with this problem and seeing that someone else has had it it concerns me that they are aware of it but do not seem to have a solution.
