Hi, Possible problem for system shutting down is when the sound IC on the system is getting weak and can't power the system volume up to the max volume range, itshuts down. It's Protecting the system form getting damaged by always shutting down. You will need to replace the Sound IC with another one for i to power up the system to it maximum volume range.
Not a solution, but I have the same problem with my unit.
In addition it has started (sometimes) to continue any adjustment of the volume to the extreme end: If I try to lower the volume a bit, it will turn it completely down, and likewise if I try to adjust it up a bit, it will continue to max.
Apparently Revo does not offer any support other than sending it for service for
hmmm ok my tip is turn the volume to about....6-8 and open the things that hold the wires in they maybe in too far or not far enough and see if this increases the sound, let me know if this helps and acctually works:)
