Epson cx8400 driver for non-intel based macs with new OS 10.5?
I have a non-intel based G5 mac, and just upgraded my OS from 10.3 to 10.5. Prior to the upgrade my cx8400 worked fine, now it doesn't. The printer just keeps feeding blank sheets till the bin is empty! I am quite frustrated, and can not find an answer to this problem. I used to believe that Epson printers were the best, but now I feel 'left out in the cold' by the company, due to their lack of support by not fixing the drivers to go with the newest OS. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

I could only get my CX8400 to work with Leopard once I manually selected the driver located at /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/EPSON Stylus CX8400.gz
I think that may have appeared after installing a driver downloaded off the web, but I didn't track my steps carefully enough to be certain. I used http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=90342&prodoid=63069506&infoType=Downloads&platform=Macintosh
I know this is a bit jumbled, but hopefully it helps.
