Is the burnt circuit on the motherboard or the power switch circuit board that plugs into the motherboard? Big difference, if the burnt circuit is on the motherboard then yes the motherboard is done and will have to be replaced, but if it's just the power switch circuit bard, then this is replaceable.

Acer powerboard problem

Wow, smoke right away on the new board? Are you using a AC Adapter and Power Cord that was specifically made for the ACER or are you using one of those one size fits all that some stores sell that comes with a bag or removable tips so that one will fit your laptop? That's exactly what one of the one size fits all will do.

No matter what, you're stuck with buying another motherboard.

My computer start working but lcd is black and makes signal 1 long and two short

1. you may have a loose flex cable or connector on the mother board.
2. You may have a defective inverter circuit. this circuit or module on the mother board allows you to view data.
3. Your LCD luminous tube that works with the inverter may have blown.
4. You may also have a defective video graphic card.
All these listed above will need a PC tech to determine the cause of "no video".
I hope this helps. Have good day!

My son's Evesham Voyager laptop won't turn on

Have you tried another hard drive incase your current one is damaged/corrupt. You may also have a faulty system board which you could try and pick up cheap online. But try another Hard Drive First.

Motherboard,It just went, burnt, for no reason,I sent it

Usually a "fried" motherboard will result from a faulty AC adapter / power supply. If the voltage it provides is too high, kiss the motherboard good bye! Most adapters output voltages around 18-19 volts at around 90 watts. If the adapter malfunctions, the voltages do not have to go much above the range to cause havoc.

If the repair shop did not FIRST check the voltage of the AC adapter before plugging it into a new motherboard, I would seriously consider a new repair shop!

I need a new mother board my mother board was

The first thing when spilling drink on your electronics is to remove ALL power.

Then wash the circuits with DISTILLED, de-ioniozed water till all traces of the spillage is gone. Next driop dry with one corner down and finally let dry a few days.

The only damage the spillage usually can do is electrolysis from the power source. Circuit boards are washed with water during manufacturing. Use DE_IONIZED !!!
