Try a new search engine such as google and see what happens. What happens when it closes? Goes blue screen, back to desktop, etc? Sounds a little like you may have a virus, trojans or some malware. Run a good antivirus, AVAST is good and free also AVG is Free. Nortons and McCaffee expensive and very little support and slow your computer down.....

Recently when i sign into msn it takes ages to sign in.

few things may be the reason of that delay

first of all that msn is making repairs to their servers .
second there is something wrong with the messenger.
third you are using an old messenger.

so if it is the first reason then you can do nothing about it.

if it is second or third then just uninstall the messenger and try to install the newest version.

i hope that will help

if you need any further help please let me know

cheers

When I get a website up, I can't then get another window to upen from that site. And then i can't get out of that site because my computer freezes and I have to shut down. When I try to do that, half the...

ok my friend its either viruses or smthing missing in ur system orrrrr it might be the security programmes.

so lets do it step by step

first i will need you to disable all security programmes and try the internet getting the same issue or not
if still the same issue then lets do the second step

second lets download malware bytes from www.malwarebytes.org
now lets run the updates and then run a full scan.
after removing any infections and rebooting now try again and see if we still have the same issue.

if not thats great but if we still have it then lets do step three

now click start
click on control panel
click on add remove programmes.
in the left pane the third option is (add remove windows components). click on that
wait for few minutes until u have a list with check boxes.
now search for internet explorer and uncheck the box beside it.
click next or finish.
now again go to add remove windows components and this time check the box of internet explorer.
(note: this may require the windows CD).

after all of that if it is still not working then
click start
click run
type CMD and click ok
type sfc /scannow
press enter. (you will need the windows CD for sure to fix any issues).

after all of that please tell me what happened with u

cheers

Cant log in windows live messenger - they says Error code 81000395

as refer to MSN error code,
You may not be able to sign in because you entered the wrong e-mail address. Re-enter your credentials and try to sign in to Messenger again.

If you sure you are enter correct username & password, second thing to check is your connectivity. In Windows Live Messenger,
  1. Click the Tools menu, and then click Options.
  2. In the left pane, click Connection.
  3. Click Refresh to freshen your display and view current information, such as signal strength, account name, and connection type. — or —
  4. To run the Connection Troubleshooter, click Start and the troubleshooter will run an analysis of your system and connection settings (Settings associated with your Internet connection.) . If you're using an 802.11b wireless card, the Connection Troubleshooter may indicate that you have a wired connection.
  5. Click Finish.
To test your connection settings:
  1. Click the Tools menu, and then click Options.
  2. Under Connection, click Advanced Settings.
  3. Click Test to run several tests on your connections.
  4. If you'd like to save a log of your server connections, select the Save a log of my server connections to help troubleshoot connection problems check box.
