i'm not familiar with that vehicle. however look under the hood for a rectanglar covered box near the battery usually. the lid is held on with clips on each end. open that. there should be some major fuses there ... abs .. a/c ... etc.

Usually as well if you look on the bottom of that lid it labels what fuse is which. failing that i have to go to the library sometime soon i'll look it up in the chilton manual unless of course you have a library near you.

There is one other problem that can go wrong with them. If i'm not mistaken jeeps are made by chrysler now.... if you look on the firewall for a black box with at least two connectors that is your daytime running light module.... it may need to be replaced.

and i must point out the merely obvious because it is often missed.... is there a chance that both lights are burnt out. you may have missed one being out as you do alot of daytime driving and then finally when you needed them for night time driving the other had already burnt out too. If you can find a replacement headlight just to try it i would recommend that first.

How do I replace the internal battery? I ordered and have the battery, I do not know where the battery is located?

To replace the battery in the MS9535 Scanner, you need to remove three phillips head screws. First remove the rubber surround at the front of the scanner to reveal two screws underneath. Just pull the cover forward and it will slip right off. The third screw is located underneath the small round sticker near the bottom of the handle. Either poke through it or peel it off. Once all three screws are removed, carefully separate the top and bottom halves of the scanner. Make sure to note how the battery is positioned in the handle as it needs to be orientated correctly when replaced. Carefully pull the battery wires out of the socket on the circuit board, noting the orientation of the plug, and remove the old battery. Plug the new battery in. Be sure to place the new battery in the same position as the old one and place the circuit board in its spot. The red lens probably fell out of the front of the scanner, so replace it and bring the two halves of the scanner back together carefully. It may take some fiddling to get everything to settle in place. Replace the screws and rubber surround. There should be enough charge on the battery to power it up for a test. Charge scanner over night and you're good to go.

Blk yellow and blue ink are all leaking. First printer said ink system failure, cannot print, copy or fax...error code0x18a0001. I then reset the computer. The error code went away, but then I noticed...

In the first place you need to remove the ink cartidges and replace with the original type on the printer. Clean the entire leaked area using methly spirit. Now the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer ONLY WHEN PROMPTED, to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Activate head cleaning before a test is taken. Sometimes it is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the PC command or can be an issue with ink drying or poor ink cartridge contacts. Also check the mechanical settings of the ink cartridge , if jammed or tight remove motor and manually free the drive before it is set back.

Hi. Problem with windows 98. My computer went into safe mode, and the only way that I could get it back was to run the WINDOWS 98 disk that I had when it was new. I now find that I am not able to change...

You need to install a video driver for your video card. Do you know what video card is installed? Do you have the original install disks for the video card? For a machine that old, it may be hard to locate a driver.

I usually use Unknown Device Identifier (http://www.zhangduo.com/udi.html) to tell what drivers are missing, but I don't know if it works with Windows 98.

Have plugged a set of headphones into socket at back of monitor but nothing happens

Sockets at that place is not for head phones. That is for monitor sound. You have to connect that socket to the sound card audio jacks. In the new machines the sound card jacks are at the back of the CPU.

To put it in more understandable terms:
Using a CROSS as an example......
Printer are configured in a configuration like this: IN & OUT or
up & down / down & up (,that is A - B). Left to right or right to left (is Y - Z). The computer, with the printer driver does mathematical calculations, knowing exactly where to put the printer head. The head is mounted on a rubber belt, geared to a motor which goes left to right and vice versa. Y Z /Z Y.
The paper is driven in-out (A B/B A ) by rubber wheels (also motor/ gear driven). Using the AB BA / YZ ZY guide formula and the use of motor driven gears & rubber wheels the image is drawn. The printer head itself is a very complicated piece of hardware that uses electricity and heat to release a set amount of ink at a specific time and place.
In order to do it manually, you need to remove the motor or gear(s) as well as know how much to push & pull the paper . It is virtually impossible to do manually .

My garmin nuvi 650 na keeps depleting its battery even though I just fully charge it on the computer. It also does not charge when I plug it in the cigarette lighter in the car. The screen turns dark...

well if you have the factory car charger. There is a fuse inside of it. This is indicated in the manual. But it could also be the cigarette lighter fuse in the car is blown. I would make sure the cigarette outlet has power. If the cigarette lighter has power and you have the factory power cable that has a fuse try this. f the unit will not charge in your vehicle, you might need to replace the fuse that is located at the tip of the vehicle adapter.
1. to change the fuse unscrew the black, round end piece on the vehicle power adapter and remove it. inspect the fuse to see if it is blown. If not end here.
2. if determined the fuse is blown remove the fuse (glass and silver cylinder), and replace it with a 1A fast blow fuse.
3.ensure that the silver tip is placed in the black end piece. screw on the black end piece
let me know how this works by following up with a comment and i can instruct you on where to go from here. Thanks.
