Lg duct type inverter Remote flushing HL

HL means the drain trough in the indoor unit has flooded and caused the float switch to operate. If you have a look outside, there should be a drain pipe coming down from the roof and attached to your wall, this is where the condensate water would normally drain from the machine. The drain pipe or drain trough outlet has probably blocked up.Carefully blow air up the pipe to try and clear it. Watch out when it clears as water will suddenly run out and you don't want to get a mouthful of dirty water. Don't stick a garden hose or anything like that up the pipe.

When water runs off the condenser, is there a path it follows to the back of the unit that cold become blocked?

ac units are designed with a small trough at the back of the unit under the evaporator fins
this trough drains out a small hose to outside the building
It can become obstructed by gunk from the inside of the house ( same gunk that blocks the air filters) or the hose attached to the drain outlet can become blocked
check for a mud wasp nest in the drain hole as well

Why is there a layer of ice under the freezer draw

Seems like the drain trough is blocked and overflowing. When the freezer defrosts, water is supposed to run into the trough and then outside to a evaporation tank or dish on the outside. Sometimes bits of food, especially peas and beans etc, fall out and then end up in the drain. You may have to remove the back panel from the inside of the freezer to get to it. The drain trough is across the bottom of the freezer at the back.

if you have power to the outside unit and the fan is not turning - the most likely problem is that the fan motor is bad. I would make sure the power is all OFF and then try and turn the fan blade by hand. If it's stuck and will not turn or turns 'hard' - the bearings have gone out and the only fix is to replace the motor.
If the fan blade turns freely - then you might check the capacitor (small electrical device attached by wires to the fan motor) and see if all the connections are tight and complete and that the capacitor itself is not bulged.
If it's 'bulged' that is a good indication that it's bad and that could be your only problem.
Otherwise I would either change the motor myself (if the bearings are out) or get an AC Tech to troubleshoot the system.
Hope this has helped.

It from all you said, it sounds like it's condensation dripping from the cooling coils. They are probably dirty and therefore the condensation is not evaporating like it should. Also, the air intake filter may be dirty or clogged.

Since you don't have an owner's manual, locate the model number of your unit and then go online to Sears Parts Central. Armed with the model number you will be able to locate the Owner's Manual and download and print it for future reference. It alone, will prove invaluable.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Water accumulating in the passenger side floorboard of my 2007 Chrysler Town & Country.

If this is happening after it rains then I believe the drains of the outside vent trough are blocked. This trough is below the grill that appears at the bottom of your windshield. When you open the hood of the van it is at the back of the engine bay and runs the whole width of the van. Their should be two plastic hoses connected to it one on the left and the other on the right. If these hoses get blocked then the water no longer drains out of the trough and builds up until it enters your van. Pull these off and then see if any water comes out of the trough. You may have to use a screwdriver to clean out the holes in the trough or even remove the grill to see what is blocking them. Another cause of this problem is when a windshield gets replaced but the rubber between the grill and windshield is not put back. And finally another reason can be your AC drain is blocked.

Water freezes in trough that supplies ice maker on side by side. Defrost unit and it functions properly till ice bin fills then ice fills trough terminating ice making. How to correct?

The trough (fill tube) is freezing up , due to a sloow leak from the water valve . The valve needs replaced . A small piece of debris , dirt , sand , etc , gets between or caught up in the rubber bellows , not letting the valve close completely . This debris will "scratch" the bellows (has to remain smooth) internally , where is will continue to catch debris , so , replaceing the valve (piece that the wall water line connects to ) has to be done . Even dissasembling and cleaning will not remove the scratch inside .
