It seems you must have spilled something on your keyboard. I suggest buying a new one. var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_62d08f39d8ff4f9cae277f63e2f72c56(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } FCTB_Init_62d08f39d8ff4f9cae277f63e2f72c56(document['FCTB_Init_3c408a929e794b45bb9f80f0a107404c']); delete document['FCTB_Init_3c408a929e794b45bb9f80f0a107404c']

Capital letter on keyboard to write password

On a standard Qwerty keyboard the Caps lock or hold down the shift key to get a capital letter.

Touch screen keyboards are a bit more complex - mine starts with capitals and after the first letter reverts to lowercase and the shift key has to be touched again for another upper case letter.

How to key in symbols that are located above numbers?

Hold down the "Shift" key and press that number with the symbol you want. Some keyboards only have an up arrow but it's not the same as the cursor keys that have up, down, right and left. There are always two of these and usually to the left of the Z key and right of the question mark key (makes all letter keys capitals). Sory to explain this like you don't know the shift keys but just want to cover all bases.

Left shift key types symbols not capital letters

it could be set to do so in system settings, like a shortcut. or there could internally be something inside under the keys which causes it to do that

HOW DO I CONNECT MY APPLE IPHONE TO PLUSNET WIRELESS

To type capital letters, press the shift key which is the up arrow in the bottom left corner of the screen, and then press the key for your desired letter. If you would like caps lock, double-tap the shift key. Note that the caps lock will be deactivated if you change to the number keyboard or symbol keyboard.

I am trying to do a cap and can't figure out how to to change frame setting to be able to do this

Are you talking about making text capitalized?

If so, then all you need to do is hold down your "shift" key on the bottom left of your keyboard at the same time you press the letter in which you want to make capital and then release both keys.

If you want to type a whole line of capitalized letters, press the "cap lock" key on the bottom left side of your keyboard and then you dont have to hold down the shift key.

I can`t get any upper case functions to work on hp 2011 keyboard what key do i press

1.Make sure the "Caps Lock" key is not on. Though this will be obvious to most people, if your keyboard is typing in only upper-case letters it can't hurt to check. Look at the "Caps Lock" indicator light on the top right corner of your HP keyboard. If the light is on, strike the "Caps Lock" key on the left side of your keyboard. This will turn the "Caps Lock" off, allowing you to type in lower case letters again.

2.Make sure the "SHIFT" keys on your HP keyboard are not stuck. Dust and dirt can build up on a keyboard over time, which can cause certain keys to stick. If either of your keyboard's "SHIFT" keys get stuck, your computer will type in only capital letters. Use a toothpick or cotton swab to remove the gunk from the key, which should help it return to its normal position.

3.Unplug your HP keyboard and then plug it back it. This will remove the device from your operating system and then automatically add it back in. This can have the same effect, essentially, as restarting your computer. If your keyboard was typing in capital letters due to an error being stored in your operating system's memory, that error will now be cleared and the HP keyboard will function as normal again.

4.Update your HP keyboard driver. Click "Start" and then right click on "Computer." Click "Properties" and then "Device Manager." Right click on the listing for your keyboard and then click "Update Driver." This will update the computer software that is associated with your HP keyboard. If your keyboard was typing in all capital letters as a result of an error with this driver, the error will now be fixed and you can use your keyboard normally again

How to change the uppercase and lowercase letters

Either by pressing and holding the shift key (on left and right of keyboard, looks like up arrow) while typing, or by pressing the CAPS LOCK key to put capitals on or off. The caps lock key is usually one above the left shift key.
If you cant find them just advise your make and model of computer and I could tell you exactly where the keys are.

Texting

It has a qwerty keyboard/keypad so the "Caps Lock" key just below the "Tab" key on the left side of the phones keyboard/keypad and pressing it once should turn Caps Lock off. And BTW the "Shift" key should only Capitalize the next letter keyed.
