No really , my Wife was pushing buttons on either the att cable remote or the tv remote last night , was distracted by grandkids and now we have no sound. Only the remotes were touched nothing else.

use the buttons on the back of tv and go into setting and reset tv to default setting that should fix it for you

All I can think of is that you must the get tv BACK ON the right channel or AV Input.

Try holding down the menu button on the front panel for 10 seconds this should unlock the keyboard.

You have an old tv so the best problems are bad capacitors and bad grounds. Have someone pull the board and search for high voltage caps [160volts or 250 volts] with 1 to 4.7 microfarads. Should be two or maybe three and check all grounds. If the 4 amp fuse is good than the above will save your TV.

Hi I had the same problem last night, so I took the batterys out  and left it for a Day, have just put them back and its working for the moment, hope that it keeps on working !!! good luck with yours.

On Remote, hold the Q.V. button down and press the number 9. That will bypass the lock

Then press the menu button on the remote - go to Advanced features, select Parental Lock - it should sho as on, hold the Q.V. button doown and press the 9 button again, and you will turn the lock off

you have to take your remote settings to default

try to use an Audio-Video(AV) cable(it has two or three wires,ask for it at the electrics shop),and push the button AV on your remote control.

Most tv's dont need to be on an input for cable. Just channel up and down or change from LIne1 or Input1 to TV or CATV.
