You need to change the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9. This is usually done in the application that is used to view the DVD. Check the menu for video options. (Not the DVD movie menu, the application's menu).
Year make and model? Some Gm's have a rubber seal that mounts to the body under the windshield cowling. It falls off letting water in threw the air vent/ filter. Silicone it back on.
Need more information to answer your question. What is your television source - are you using Cable, Satellite, Antenna? If you have a box from cable or other it could be the setting. I am assuming your distortion is the picture configuration with black boxes on the side, or potentially an incorrect zoom setting which can have people look tall and skinny, or short and fat. If it is just a general picture failure - need more detail on that as well.

I have no clue what "core support bushings" you would be refering to. However, if you are installing rubber bushings that have a metal washer made onto them. the "rule-of-thumb" is that the washer goes on the side where the nut goes if they are mounted with a stud, or on the side where the bolt head is if they mount with a bolt.
the stock vulcan 800a comes with a 80/90-21, the first number is the width in mm, and the second number is the side wall ratio compared to height, the third number is the rim size. ex. the tire is 80mm wide and 90% as tall or 72mm on a 21" rim. So if you are going wider I would measure the distance between the forks in mm and go from there.
here are the diagrams for the 2 engines. the first on is for the 24 valve engine, the second is for the 12 valve engine. if your oil filter is short and fat use the first one, if its tall and skinny use the 2nd one.
