Hello, I have changed to the new yahoo mail and i don't like it. Please indicate to me how I revcert to the old version.

reduce screen resolution to 800*600
and try login with user id and password
it will ask for.. one time or .....
click on second option

thats it.. you are done..
use old version

Please don't be upset. The switch was mandatory at some point, but Yahoo does know that there are issues with the new version.

To switch back, sign into your mail account. Click options on the right hand side of the page, and click switch to mail classic.

This will switch your account back to the old version.

Yes the new Yahoo Mail Beta is frustrating. I never switched myself knowing that people were having problems, and not wanting to be forced into it, I asked about a solution.

Below are the instructions that Yahoo sent me, follow them, and Yahoo will switch you back to Classic Mail.

Please bear in mind, this could take up to a week to be completed, but it will be done.



You will need to contact Yahoo at the address below. Please follow these instructions in order to return.

I understand you would like to return to Classic Mail in your Yahoo!
Mail Account. I know this can be frustrating, I apologize for the
inconvenience this may be causing you. I'd be happy to address this for

switch your account to that version.

After the introduction of the new version of mail, Yahoo will not be returning back to the classic version. Unfortunately the reviews I've read make it look like the best mail program out there, which is not proving to be the case.

My advice is to contact Yahoo as I have, and ask them to change it back due to the issues you're facing. If enough people do this, then maybe they'll reconsider their actions.

Unfortunately there is no way to switch back to mail classic. The new version is still in Beta testing, so they will have to work out the bugs before going live officially.

I wish there were a solution to this problem, but until Yahoo realizes the seriousness of this, they will not do anything about it.

The old version will not be coming back, though I would hope, with enough user complaints, they would do so.

Right now, there's nothing you can do about it. Sorry, I really wish I could help.

Hello, I'm sorry but yahoo mail classic is no longer available. Yahoo has disabled the old mail to encourage users to continue with the newest version. You are allowed a switchback temporarily if you have a slow connection.

To use messenger just click on Top Contacts, usually under Folders. Click on the person you want to chat with to begin chatting. To sign in or out click the Bolt icon next to it.
Don't worry though, yahoo has promised to make the new mail so much better.

Hi there Fran, unfortunately, there is no way to revert to an older version of Yahoo Mail as they encourage users to migrate to the newest version.
