How to open gprs

By the way, what is the brand of your phone so that I would be able to give you the instructions.
Or I would assume that you are using smart phones.

Smart phones use GPRS to connect to your mobile carrier and allow you to roam. GPRS is the wireless network that allows calls to be made and voice mail messages to be received, and it carries your voice over the airwaves. There are times when you may need to open (turn on) your GPRS if it becomes closed (or turned off). When your GPRS is open, you can select a network to connect to.

1.Press down on the "Menu" button from the home screen of the data device.

2.Click the "Settings" or "Tools" icon for phone configurations.

3.Scroll to and select "Phone Settings" or "Network Settings."

4.Click the options for "Airplane Mode" or "Wireless Mode" (based on your smart phone manufacturer).

5.Select the option for "On" or click the "On Checkbox" to open up your GPRS.

Open GPRS for Network Selection

1.Press down on the "Menu" button from the home screen of the smart phone.

2.Click the icon for "Settings" and then select the option for "Call Settings."

3.Click or press on the icon for "Network Selection" to open the menu and then click on "Default Setup" to access the network configuration options.

4.Scroll to and select "Manual" to change the phone from automatically selecting a network.

5.Select the desired network and make sure that the phone connects. Test the phone by making a call with the new network.

Open GPRS for Voice Mail

1.Press down on the "Menu" button from the home screen of the smart phone.

2.Click the icon for "Settings" and then click the icon for "Messaging."

3.Scroll to and click the option for "Messages Settings."

4.Click the icon for "Voicemail."

5Make sure that the option for "Voicemail" is set to "On" to receive voice mail messages..

Please tell steps in opening gprs of black berry 8520, and i cant acces wifi

in setting up gprs for blackberry 8520 you have to contact first your network provider to ask for the settings. After getting the settings just follow the step below.

In network selection you have to choose 3G.
go to option >adavanced option>TCP/IP> both option tick enable( put tick mark)
for APN: name of the network
username and password: blank

For you to access wifi, you have to remove your phone on 3G mode and just switch it to GSM. because by default your phone is defaulted to your network.

'Try manual search for wifi connection
  1. On the Home screen, click the Manage Connections icon.
  2. Click Mobile Network Options.
  3. Change the Network Selection Mode field to Manual.
  4. Click Scan for Available Networks.
  5. Click a wireless network.
  6. Click Select Network.
  7. Press the Menu key.
  8. Click Save.

I dont know how to open the gprs on my phone

first of all GPRS is network dependant. you need o get the settings from the mobile service operator. once you get the settings

select the softkey(center key) choose "webaccess", there "web sessions".
select the settings as default or create a new settings manually with the instructions provided by the operator. dont forget to set it default.

you are ready to go.

if that doesnt help, contact customer care.

Can not browse on my motokrzr k1 cellular

Your Motorola KRZR might already come with pre-loaded settings for your mobile operator’s data services so you can connect to the mobile Internet. This is a mobile phone version of the normal Internet on your PC at home or work. Many of the same websites are available on mobile phones, but are designed specifically for the smaller screens. To select your preferred mobile Internet account:
  • From the Menu screen, highlight WebAccess and click Select
  • Scroll down to Web Sessions and click Select
  • Scroll down the list to select the mobile Internet service you want – e.g. O2 Post Pay, Orange GPRS WAP, T-Mobile, Virgin or Vodafone
  • Press Options and select Set Default.
  • Press Exit and then scroll up to Browser. The web browser will automatically open, connecting you to your operator’s mobile Internet site.
  • Now, when you select WebAccess on the standby screen, then select Browser, you will automatically connect to the mobile Internet.
Alternatively, you can create your own account to connect to your operator’s mobile Internet service. To do this you must first get the settings from your mobile operator (They can be found on mobile operators’ websites), then:
  • From the Menu screen, highlight WebAccess and click Select
  • Scroll down to Web Sessions and click Select
  • Scroll down the list to the bottom and select [New Entry]
  • Then enter the settings for your mobile Internet service
