You will need to recover your Gamertag.
                        To recover a gamertag
To recover your gamertag, you need the associated Windows Live ID and password for your Xbox LIVE account.
                      1. If you're signed into Xbox LIVE with another gamertag, press the Guide button, and then press X on your controller to sign out.
                      2. Press the Guide button again, and select Recover Gamertag.
                      3. Select Recover Gamertag again.
                      4. Enter your Windows Live ID and password for the gamer profile that you want to recover.
                      5. Follow the on-screen directions.
                      Notes
                      • You can enter information using a USB keyboard, the Xbox 360 Chatpad, or your Xbox 360 controller and the on-screen keyboard.
                      • For Xbox LIVE child accounts, the associated Xbox LIVE adult account credentials are required to complete the recover gamertag procedure.

Hi. Try this. You will lose any achievements you have earned since your profile went offline.

                    1. Power on your 360.
                    2. Access the dashboard, go into system settings, then into the memory option. Find your profile.
                    3. Delete the corrupted profile.
                    4. Sign out of your profile if you're already on it! Press the Xbox guide button press X and select sign out.
                    5. Go into "my xbox" on your dashboard
                    6. Select "recover gametag" in the dialogue box. Press A to select it. Follow the instructions to repair your profile.
                    7. Enter your gamertag in the Xbox live gamertag dialogue box that pops up
                    8. When process is completed your avatar will appear in the sign in area of the dashboard

Follow the directions on the screen, and you should be back in the game in no time....if you had a passcode you will need to set it back up but all your achievements, etc will still be there.

I have a corrupt file problem I have 2 xbox 360's and one is modded/banned from live and the other I diddnt mod so I can play online. Now I've been playing both for about a year but now I get corrupted...

um dont have the modded xbox hooked to the internet online bro, they see what that one tag does when you go online to gain ur achevements. so my point is to have ur Acheicement points show up on ur gamertag or your profile for instance, it has to be legit, that other xbox must have some file thats not allowing to use it cause that other xbox still has its internet hooked up
                    i think

I don't have xbox live but i have a corrupted profile

I have never seen a fix for it without the Xbox Live.

1.Either backup your profile (GT) over at a friends house who has an xbox live connection.
                    2. You can always back up the Gamertag to your Pc...
                    3. Call Microsoft they always have a solution.

My xbox 360 profile is corrupt.

IF your profile is not an xbox live account, your xbox profile cannot be recovered, however, if your account is an xbox live account all you need to do is have no one signed in, press the center xbox button, go down to recover account and enter your information

                    Corrupted profile on XBox 360

I have heared that if you just delete the profile, just the profile, everything will be just fine (note: This only works if your profile is on xbox live).
Just go to memor, then go into the saving device the corrupted profile is on. Then "click" on the botton that says profile and delete the corrupted profile. Remember; the profile will be a small save and not taking up most of your harddrive, look for something with MB size, not GB size. When you have done this, go to "recover gamertag" and do so for the profile you just deleted. After all this, your game saves and achivements should be present and working.
