Question about HP Pavilion F1703 17" LCD Monitor
I have issues with the f1703 monitor as wel - the OSD will not turn off - though the more common failure of this model is that the screen is black after a very short usage time period. Apparently, this model monitor was defective, and was recalled by HP. However, they failed to give notice, so I would recommend following up with them to attempt to get it replaced. Good luck! (Further, it could be that the defective monitor may be affecting Windows in some form or fashion, but I wanted to inform you regarding the monitor.)
