Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Hey guys i fixed this...
its over heatings the CPU and GPU
you need to disassemble it... http://www.llamma.com/PS3/repair/PS3_disassembly_tutorial.htm
then you need to replace the thermal compound with artic silver 5 as the stuff sony has put on is very dry and cracked, i have done this 4 7 of my mates PS3'S and they all work fine.
only do this if its out of warrently, if you removin the sticker on it, it shines through void

It could be something that's been called blu flu. I've had it, it's sommet you cannot fix. I just rang up Sony and got sent a replacement.
