Ds console powers off after replacing screen
Well, looking at the diagnosis there are two possible problems. You could have both, or just one. Here they are and the solution.
1. Blown F2 fuse. The F1 and 2 fuses get blown most often. Between the two, it is the F2 if the system charges. Here is a website that will teach you how to solder it back together. This site has old and new DS systems on it. Before you solder make sure to check that it is broken with a multimeter.
2. Misconnected Ribbons. The easier, and more common problem is that a cable isn't in all the way, or it is crooked. You should just check all your ribbons, and double check them. Take them out, put them in again, make sure all the fixings (little black things that hold the little ribbons) are in, and the snaps are snapped. If you have lost a fixing, just post and say that and I will tell you how to MAKE a new one.
