Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

ACT! 2006. I loaded the software onto three computers for out office and I got the synch set up but the problem I am having is that notes and entries from some users are showing up under the wrong users name in the "Record Manager" field. I can't for the life of me figure out why. I had some trile and error when setting up the sink so I am not sure If I messed up somewhere along the line but now I just want to fix it and I am not sure how. Any help?? Thanks in advance.

I already have everyone set up to synch. That part of it is working fine but when two of the users synch, the notes coming from the other users are not listed under the correct name. For example: John sends his notes entr'd for the day to Pam and Jane when they get his synch his notes show up under Jane's name on Pam's computer instead of under John like they should..... I am trying to be clear but I don't know if that made sense. I was going to delete all users on all three ACT! programs on each computer and try to start fresh but I don't want to lose any info.... I just need the notes and entries to show up under the correct names.

I got the info I needed. I am still have some difficulty with some other problems but I will wait to see if I can't figure it out before spending another $10.

First you need to add the new users, then check that you do not have any firewall in the middle
