As part of the install, it said that it needed to disable hardware bitmap caching for optimum performance. On uninstall it didn;t re-enable it as far as I can tell.
To disable imageon device bitmap:
create following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\Drivers\ATI\ DisableDeviceBitmap
and make it equal to 1

C0610 Bitmap (DIMM) problem
There is a problem with the data or
address bus of the bitmap DRAM.
Defective main
PWB.
Replace the main PWB and check for correct
operation.
DIMM installed
incorrectly.
Check if the DIMM is inserted into the socket
on the main PWB correctly.
Defective DIMM. Replace the DIMM and check for correct
operation.
It seems to me a logical problem. Not hardware. Wich software are you using to print? CorelDraw? If so, in the miscelaneous tab in the printing settings (ctrl+e), check if the option "bitmap output" is not in the "grey scale" mode.

workaround to bring up the printing preferences screen for the printer, go to the "Graphics" tab, change the print mode from "Standard" to "High Quality", then click on the "Advanced" tab and enable the "Bitmap Text Smoothing" option.
The key is to make sure you choose "Bitmap Text Smoothing" and not "Bitmap Smoothing". They are two seperate options, so keep scrolling down when you get to "Bitmap Smoothing" and you will find the correct option.
