Try to format your mp3 player, then put one or two songs back into the player.

to format your player, plug it into your computer, open my computer, find the mp3 drive and right click - format. fat32 and other default settings.

Download a current version of windows media player on your pc and open it. when it opens it will ask if you want to search for music on your pc - choose yes or ok. The media player will locate any music files on your pc and bring them into it so you can see them. use the "sync" function to convert the file formats to mp3, then connect your player to your pc using the cable and transfer the music to it. the sync function should convert the files to mp3 format first and then when they are converted - it should sync or transfer them to a useable version on your mp3 player.. Be patient, the sync feature is sometimes slow.

How can i delete music from my player

Philips produces a variety of MP3 players that differ in capacity and design. All of the Philips MP3 players have one thing in common, however: the way that you manage files on the MP3 player. All Philips MP3 players appear as USB mass storage devices when connected to your computer. This means that you can delete files off of your Philips MP3 player using Windows Explorer, much like you would remove a file off of a USB drive.

To delete them, follow this instructions:

1)Connect your Philips MP3 player to your computer using the USB cable provided with your device.
2)Find your Philips MP3 player in Windows Explorer by clicking "Start" and then "My Computer." You should see your device under the section labeled "Devices with Removable Storage."
3)Double-click on your Philips MP3 player to view the files stored on the MP3 player.
4)Navigate to the folder that contains the files you want to remove. Your files are organized based on the type of file. For example, open the "Music" folder to delete music files.
5)Right-click on a file you want to delete and select "Delete." Click "Yes" when asked if you are sure you want to delete the file.
6)Eject the Philips MP3 player before disconnecting it. Click the "USB Mass Storage" icon in the system tray and select "Safely Remove Hardware." The system tray is in the lower-right corner of the screen.

The thing wont stop telling me to refresh the library

Depends on the model # and manufacturer of your mp3 player. Some players do not recognize DRM-encrypted music files. I would re-download the songs in mp3 format only.

I have no icon for my YP K3 JAR MP3 player. Can i get around this problem without an installation CD?

My Windows XP PC thought that the MP3 Player had a file that was to big to automatically install but it didn't notify me of this. I eventually solved this by going to:
-Start.
- Control Panel.
-Printers and Other Hardware.
-Look at the options panel on the left.
-Reveal the options by clicking on the down arrows.
-Click on the 'Add Hardware' link and plug the MP3 into the computer using the USB cable.
- Follow the prompts. Select 'Yes' if the compter asks you if the hardware is installed.
-Find your MP3 on the list.
- Install the MP3. If the computer asks if you want to install a driver, select 'Yes'. Follow the prompts.
This will not work on Apple Macs or Ipods. If this solution does not work, then there is something wrong with the MP3.
