Hp 300-1003 wireless not pick up the network but says it working properly

I use a nano (very small) Edimax external USB wifi adapter and it works good. It comes with its software and it cost less than $15. It is available at Newegg.com and eBay.com.
The Edimax software can check the signal strength and its quality.

I created a network on my Vista os, trying to connent to a windows 8 os. How can I undo the network?

You want to undo the network? I'm not sure I understand? You want to connect the two Computers on your network? Are both computers on the same Home network? Are both computers setup properly? Sharing? Can you clarify the question?

I have ask.com as my default when I go out on the Internet. How do I change it to google.com as my default so ask.com does not come up.

go to google.com on the search engine, on the search page it should show a gmail sign up & to the left of the page it should show make google your homepage, just follow the prompts

you can even put a icon on your desktop of google,,when your on your google home page--right click the google name & go to create shortcut, & it should put a shortcut to igoogle on your desktop,,that's what I did

to check to see if igoogle is your home page do the following steps
Go to the start menu
Then to control panel
Network & internet connections
Go to OR PICK A CONTROL PANEL ICON
Click on internet options
The menu should show--internet properties
In the general tab at the top should be home page
Check to see if google is there for home page
If it's not type it in--igoogle & click apply & ok

Were do you get wep or wpa trying to hook up xbox 360 to my wireless router

You need to configure the wireless networking component of the router:
* pick a network-name ('SSID'),
* pick an encryption-level (preferably 'WPA'),
* pick a network-password.

Then, configure your XBOX to use that SSID/password, to connect to your router.

If i rigt click on my network connection icon and go to view available wireless network i am not showing a network why?

Make sure that your wireless adapter is enabled and your wireless radio is turned on (sometimes on a laptop there is a small switch that can accident ly be turned off). Also ensure that your wireless router is on and functioning (I am assuming you are trying to access a home network and not a wireless hot spot somewhere).

If you have another wireless device try that to see if you are picking up anything.

Blue screen on acer extensa 5630 laptop it says its my intel display driver

Try rebooting the computer in safe mode with networking...this is usually done by tapping the F8 key while the manufacturers splash screen shows up for a few seconds. Once the multi-boot screen comes up scroll to safe mode with networking and click ok. Once the computer boots up, it will probably be using a generic video driver to show a picture, go to acer's support site and download a fresh driver, the link is below....good luck. when you click the link, make sure you pick what operating system you are using to get the correct driver. click on drivers > notebook > aspire > 5630 > choose operating system.

Can't connect to my home network using remote assistance with my laptop.

You don't mention what operating system you're on, and network configurations are various, but I would suggest following microsoft's guidelines for 'remote access to network'.
Here is a link to resources and another that will help you set up your network correctly for remote access, and one example: click here or here, and a troubleshooter.
If that's all too much, perhaps this link or this link will help you sort it out.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Laptop Cannot Find Home Wireless Network

Try logging into the router with your desktop hard-wired and find the 25-digit passcode and use that to log on to the wireless network with the laptop. If not, then check if connection is good by hard-wiring the router to the laptop. Let me know what happens or if you have solved the problem.
