Hello, welcome to FixYa.

I agree with you, I cannot see how any repair to a Bosch diswaher would justify or require it to leave your site let alone going to a repair shop. These (as any other manufacturer) are designed to be serviced in the home. To address the problem I would need more detail and clarification. Is the issue that the drain pump runs constant ? Does the tub get drained of water ? Let me know as much as you can and I should be able to assist you...depending on your mechanical abilities/comprehension. Please verify the model is indeed a Bosch SHV46C03. Thank you.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

Bosch dishwasher. When running, can see water flow down overflow channel to pan at bottom of machine.

If you can see water flowing down the overflow channel to the pan at the bottom of your Bosch dishwasher while it is running, this indicates that there may be a problem with the dishwasher's float switch or water inlet valve.
The float switch is a small device located at the bottom of the dishwasher's tub that is designed to detect the water level inside the dishwasher. If the water level rises too high, the float switch will shut off the water inlet valve to prevent the dishwasher from overflowing. If the float switch is not functioning properly, it may allow water to continue to flow into the dishwasher, resulting in water flowing down the overflow channel to the pan at the bottom.
Another possible cause of this issue could be a faulty water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is responsible for regulating the flow of water into the dishwasher. If the valve is stuck open or is not functioning properly, it may allow water to continue to flow into the dishwasher, resulting in water flowing down the overflow channel to the pan at the bottom.
To resolve this issue, you may need to have a professional technician inspect and repair your Bosch dishwasher. They can test the float switch and water inlet valve to determine the cause of the problem and replace any faulty components as needed.

My bosch nexxt500 wont rotate the drum, the water pump work but the motor doesnt rotate the drum

Check if the lid isnt working as this prevents a roration . Else must be a loosened or broken belt that rotates the drum as the motor works . Hope this helps

Motor runs with door open. No water in pan.

Sounds to me like there may be water in the moisture sensor. Your dishwasher is probably leaking and the noise you hear is the drain pump activated.

Ok-when the dishwasher is finished with its cycle and I open it to empty it, the top rack is still dirty and there is dishwasher residue and leftover food particals on the door and the bottom of the...

Open up the filter and clean the filter out but also check the filter well.
Our bosch DW has a 2nd filter inside that.
Also check the filter is not broken.

Upon selecting a wash cycle and closing the door the machine starts normally (heating water stage) but never clicks to allow water in and wash the dishes. Fails to advance to the wash cycle and just runs...

Not knowing the make or if the machine is logic controlled, it’s very hard to diagnose. If it’s a logic controlled machine, my guess is the board is bad.

My Bosch dishwasher sounds like it is running but does not clean the dishes.

check bottom of dishwasher screens for any blockages or obstruction preventing water from getting into pump. may need a wet vac to **** water out of pump and use a small mirror to inspect pump openings. if no obstruction, the pump impellor maybe broken. replacing the impellor is fairly difficult. the dishwasher has to be pulled from under the counter. repost if you further questions.

My Bosch SHV46C dishwasher keeps running, even when the door is open, unless you turn the control switch off. Then, when you turn the switch on, it starts running again.

I have a Bosch that was stuck in pump down mode even when the door was open.
The problem ended up being too much water in the drip pan below the unit. There is a float in the drip pan that actuates the same limit switch as the internal overfilled float.
I had recently cleaned the incoming water filter and must have loosened the water line tube.

At the end of the cycle the water is not draining out of the tub. I vac'ed out the water, removed the filters and checked for debris but found non.

Check drain hose first.

If you do not find any blockage, then you will need to access the pump, remove pump hose and look for blockage in there.

If there is no blockage at all, then either the water level switch, a faulty pump (not switching from recirculate to drain) , a wiring problem, or a faulty timer board can be cause the machine not draining.
