their is no way of setting it up yourself the only thing you can do is take it to a watch repair shop you can often find these in markets and the ones in the markets are alot cheaper as i dont know the area where you live i couldnt advise you on a certain place but usuall somwhere that does key cutting thse often repair watches.
this is the only problem with digital watches and alarm clocks it is difficult to do and impossible to do yourself so take it to a watch repair shop they should set it right for you for next to nothing sorry i couldnt offer you any more help but unless their is an adjuster where the battery goes their is no way of doing it yourself.
If you have only recently brought it do you still have reciept because these shouldnt be sold not set up so if you have reciept take it back and they will replace it if not and repair is only option take it into a watch repair shop this is the only sollution but shouldnt cost to much hope this is some help to you let ne know how you get on good luck

SOURCE: how to use voice control feature of Braun 4760

Turn the alarm on, then when the alarm rings, just make a noise, say a word, grumble or clap hands and it will stop ringing for 8 minutes, then start again. If you need to yell louder to make it stop, that's an indication that the battery is going dead.

Minute hand on Braun AB1A has curved up stopping second hand

The whole front square face of the clock has 4 little nails which are located in the middle of each side (inside and next to the edge of the joint), so you have to carefully insert a screwdriver and lever the front out. After this you have to remove the hands (remember to set the clock and alarm hand to 12:00 before taking those away). The face will be loose, and you'll have access to the mechanism. Clean the alarm contact (look for a double silver metal arm that touches an small bronze stick. Alarm button can be release by gently lever the little nail that shows in the center when button is up at clock's backside.

I am 19 and own a 06 ram 1500, help me out. I had a very bad vibration from the passenger side wheel well one night, the next morning I went out to see what was up. My lower ball joint nut was loose! I...

  • Here is how to test your ball joints and tire rod end to see if they need replaced. Esay teat, very reliable.
  • First jack that wheel off the ground.
  • Put one hand on 3 and one hand on 9 (O'Clock) and try to wiggle the tire from side to side. If you get movement then your tire rod end (middle ball joint) need replaced.
  • Now put one hand at 12 and the other hand at 6 (O'Clock) and move the tire in an up and down motion. Any play with the wheel with this motion indicates your lower ball joint needs replaced.
  • No put one hand at 2 and the other hand at 8 (O'Clock) and try to move it back and forth. Do the same at 11 and 5 (O'Clock). Any movement in either of them positions indicates a HUB or Wheel Bearings needing replace.
  • Make sure after you tightened that lower ball joint bolt up that you stick a cotter pin in the hole that goes through that bolt so that nut stays put.
  • I would hate to think someone installed shocks and did not do an inspection at the same time to see if any other repairs were needing done.
  • When the HUB goes bad it will vibrate and get louder as they wear and worsen getting to the point of almost deafening.

HOW TO SET NEW PIRELLI YACHT TIMER WATCH? MANUAL NOT SENT WITH WATCH. IS THERE A FREE MANUL POSTED ON INTERNET? MODEL 41008, S# 7951903215 Many thanks for the help.

This information comes from the movement manufacture and helps figure out what does what. I also have a yacht timer with no instructions.....hope this helps

A combination of design and technology, ISA 8270 is a precise racing timer developed especially for yachting races, displaying count-down during regatta departures with audible signals, followed by cumulated time during races. The dimensions (25.60mm, H 4.60mm) offer a large variety of opportunities for watch designs. It is suitable for the manufacture of models for gents and ladies watches.

This new calibre is an analogue quartz timer fitted with an alarm function. It displays the hours, minutes, seconds (small jumping seconds at 2 o’clock counter), and date shown by a date window at 6 o’clock. In addition, it allows count-down and race timing. The small hand at 10 o’clock counter and the central hand facilitate the display of count-down and time measurement clearly visible.

Count-down, Racing Timer and Alarm features

ISA 8270 yachting movement not only provides the traditional count-down at 10, 6 and 5 minutes, but also the versatility of setting count-downs at any minute from 10 to 1 minute.

One special feature is that it allows the possibility of recalibrating the count-down at every minute up to the last minute before departure. This latter function allows the navigators to readjust the watch at any time during the count-down to the closest full minute in order to be in line with the official procedure announced by the racing committee (RC) boat so as to get off the best possible start. Audible signals are emitted every minute to alert the progress of count-down. To give higher accuracy, every-second audible signals are emitted during the last 10 seconds count-down to ensure knife-sharp precision. Immediately after the departure, the count-down automatically shifts to the racing timer mode to measure the time of the race event for a maximum of 96 hours. Setting, start/stop and recalibration of count-down and race timing are facilitated by the pushers (at 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock), which are easier to operate.

Thanks to an oversized counter hand and a highly visible flange on the dial that our customers may design, the navigators can best monitor the time remaining before departure and during the entire procedure.

The alarm time is displayed in an analogue mode. Alarm start/stop is enabled by a pusher at 8 o’clock and is displayed by a central alarm hand (12 hours).

Superb performance

Born of precision, accuracy and innovation, ISA 8270 offers excellent quality and performance. Intended for yachting races, this movement gives answer to sports watches requiring indispensable qualities: strength, endurance, agility and outstanding speed.
When the trend of sportive and fashionable quartz watches prevails, this new Swiss Made ISA 8270 priced competitively with outstanding performance answers the expectations of an increasing market demand and customers, who wish to add a number of value-added exceptional designs to their next collections with strong sporting character.

Strausbourg Manor Wall Clock chime adjustment

It is normal for the average wall clock. Of course, this can be adjusted, but without watch/clockmaking knowledge it is impossible, because first you need to find out which part of the movement is causing early chiming - and there are plenty of them.
Super fine adjustment can be found only in top of the range clocks. Hundreds of hours of craftsmenship are spent to adjust and fine tune them. That's why they cost a fortune.
If you can not live with that early chiming, you have to bring your clock down to the watch/clock repair shop and ask for help. Be ready to pay quite a money, as this job takes the skill and a lot of time.
