Danby premiere R410A humidifier function. Do any of the hose in the back have to go outside? In the instruction it states that the warm air exchange hose must vent inside the room when using Dehumidify Mode, but what about the other vent, does it stay inside or it has to go outside? Please can someone clarify this? Thanks,

Are you sure of the model number? I just went to the Danby website and I found nothing relating to a "humidifier" only dehumidifiers and air conditioners. Help me out a little more, specifically the full model number on the back of the unit.

SOURCE: Air intake via hose & window or intake from room only?

Hello artrey3 The answer is yes, BUT the unit will be exausting room/basement air outside ruining any efficency the unit is rated for. Also you will need makeup/fresh air in the basement. The unit exausting air can put the basement in a vacuum/negitive pressure pulling in air from the chimney!

SOURCE: Relative Humidity reading is always

Hi,

I will advice you first make sure the humidistat isn't set too high by adjusting it to the lowest humidity setting and running it again. Next, test the dehumidifier by placing it in a closed bathroom with a hot shower running. If you don't see water collecting in the unit after several minutes, turn the unit off and clean all dehumidifier filters and coils. If, after adjusting the settings and cleaning the unit, you still don't see water collecting, you may have a refrigeration issue. In this case, you will need to get a technician to help check because it is beyond what you can do.

You will need a PDF reader such as Adobe Reader or one of the other free PDF readers. It is a PDF file and will not open as plain text.

I have a danby premiere r410a air conditioner & it

This could be because there is a small seam in the connection of the ducts. Or it can be the air volume is traveling through a smaller duct to get to the blower in the furnace. You should call an air conditioning technician and ask them if there is anything you can do to stop this from happening. One option is to buy some duct seal and paint it.

I have a danby premiere r410 a, the compressor will not come on

Hi There,
I would love to help you, however I am not sure which model you have. R410A is not a Danby model number. The correct number can be found on the back of the unit as well as on the front cover of the owners manual. The numbers usually begin with "DDR"

Have connected the internal tube to self-drain, but it does not by-pass the internal or external bucket....Please help, as i would like to drain automatically to the outside, without using or emptying the...

The drain tube/hose can only be used in Dehumidifier Mode. The drain hose can be connected to a garden hose, but the hose can not exceed 40"in length. As, it relies entirely on gravity to drain. In addition, the warm air exchange hoses must vent inside the room when using Dehumidify mode.

, using it during air conditioning mode, would not be feasible.

Hope this helped you.

Do we need to use both hoses?

You could draw the air from inside however the system works much more effeciently with 2 hoses.
The air that is drawn into the unit and heated then exhausted back outside. If you don't use the second hose all the air that is exhausted will have to be drawn in around windows and doors or othe voids in the area. This would draw in warm moist air that would then have to be cooled and dehumidified.
