I have a P-IV 3Ghz CPU with Intel Original MB/ 512 MB ram/ 500 GB HDD/ 2 DVR cards each handling 16 Samsung 415D cameras . The CPU shuts dowm automatically. But if the side cover of the CPU is opened then the CPU works fine. I have also installed 3 cooling fans but the problem persists. help required.at mail id : firstname.lastname@example.org

It sounds like your computer is running to Hot> You can check the temp. in tour Bios if you just want to see how hot it is running I usually will run the computer for awhile and the reboot and and before then press F4 or sometimes F2 to then go to setup From there you bios will be there and you can see if your fans and the cpu temp and your Video cards temp..Which could be also getting too Hot and if you tweak it or if the Fans on the boards are covered in dust this will cause it to heat up. That goes same for the Cpu Fan too.
