This only means that there is no CDMA coverage on that area where you're at. For sure you'll have it back where CDMA signal is available.

it may be the problem with your service provider. Or there may be some problem with your phone antenna.if it is phone antenna's problem then take it to service centre

what you need to tell the service provider is that to delete the vLR on they network then add it again

You can use it in india. Please take it to a sony ericson service centre , They will make arrangements so that u can use. they will charge around 50 $ i guess.
