Tou need standard usb cable :

USB Type A Male / Type B Male Cable, 2.0 Version, 1 ft

Power cable must be standard two prongs on printer side, and depends on your socket on other side.

You can find both cables at any local computer and electronic reseller.

How do I connect it to the computer

you need a 2.0 usb cable which is apparently (oddly) not included. usually you would install the driver and sofware then part of the installation would ask you to connect the printer to the computer. don't connect the computer before installing the sofware or it may not work at all.

now if you don't have the cd you should be able to go into the canon website, search for mp370 all in one devices and you should be able to download the sofware/drivers according to the operating system on the computer where you will be installing the driver.

here's the link I found for your printer. there's a section that says driver and downloads, select your operating syste, install, connect and test.

good luck!

SHOW ME THE CORD FOR HOOK UP TO THE COMPUTER AND WHERE DO YOU INSERT?

Son of a ... They don't give you a USB cable in the box.

General Specifications OS Compatibility

* It should be a standard USB 2.0 cable.

Well you need the kind that connects a printer. Type A connector on one end and type B connector on the other end. See this page.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Serial_Bus

and see this page for a better picture of the cable...

http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F3U133-10-Hi-Speed-Cable-Feet/dp/B00004Z5M1

one end is kind of square with rounded upper corners kind of like a house, the other end is the standard flat rectangle usb connector that everyone knows from plugging in those USB memory things.

Mp370 driver dowmloads

Normal 0 Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

I have a canon multipass MP370 printer. I am having trouble changing the ink cartridge. They will not stop in place where I can remove and replace.

Directions are here:

If the thing isn't stopping as it's supposed to after you open it up, you may have a faulty sensor. This is a $150 new printer. If opening it -fully-, pushing back gently but firmly, still doesn't trigger the thing into thinking it's ready for a new ink tank, try yanking the power cable. You can generally also push the carriage, the carrier with the ink tanks, by hand without causing damage. Don't use too much force -- but it should move over about as difficult as a big dictionary across a table.

HI
Visit already comes with drivers for the MP370 installed so just plug in your printer and go to contraol panel then printers and your image class mp370 shuld be there and you then set that as a default printer.
