If you are Windows 7/Vista user, you can create a password reset disk to reset Windows password as follows. Just 6 steps:

1. Enter Create a password reset disk in the Start search box.

2. Press Enter to pop up the Forgotten Password Wizard.

3. Insert a USB flash drive and click Next on the Forgotten Password Wizard.

Step 1: Start your computer to enter the Windows XP log on screen.

Step 7: In the Type a new password hint box, type a hint, click Next, then click Finish.

Now your Windows XP password has been reset. You can log on your computer with the new password. And if forget to create a password reset disk, you can still perform Windows XP password recovery with Windows password recovery software like Windows Login Recovery. It can help you recover Windows XP password by burning a bootable CD / DVD or USB flash drive.
