If the eject button does not work, try opening "my computer" and right-clicking on the icon and choosing "eject."
If this doesn't work, get a large paper clip and straighten it out and put one end in the little hole in the below the CD drawer. That will open it a little and you can grab it and pull it the rest of the way.

If it's a desktop, you can manually eject the disk. Turn off your computer and press a paper clip or other small object into the little hole on the front of the DVD drive. You need to apply a little force, but the tray should slide out far enough for you to remove the disk.

How do I open the player to remove a DVD?

take a look at the bottom of the unit under where the dvd deck is. If the is a slot cut in the bottom of the cabinet, then there should be a lever in there that you can push to the side to release the drawer.

How do eject a DVD from Dell model PD02S

Your question is not quite clear; however, if you mean that your computer is dead and you want to eject the DVD from its player (Note-Books/ Laptops) try the following:

1. Search and find a tinny pin-hole next to the eject button
2. Find a suitable size pin (I use extended paper clips) - push it through that hole and apply a little bit of pressure. that should release the locking device and the DVD should come loose. Pull it out and remove from the player.
Hope this helps and please give me a vote if this helps.

Tray locked on sony dvp-ns77h dvd player

If the Sony DVP-NS77H DVD player displays "TRAY LOCKED" and you can't eject a disc or open the tray, try the following - First turn the unit off. Then, while holding down the eject, play and stop buttons simultaneously (on the front of the DVD player), turn the unit on with the '/O button (also on the front of the player). This released the locked tray for me.

How do I get the DVD player to eject a DVD? I seems to be not responding to the eject button.

First thing to try is to unplug it, (not just power off) then plug it in while holding the eject button.

DVP-NS305 DVD Player

Your system is in child lock mode. I had this exact problem this week. You need to put the system into standby mode and then press return, then enter then on/off and it will be unlocked.
