Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Hi, my son's ps3 has come up with the error message "hard disk corrupted" and won't allow us to do anything else. Sony have offered a 40g refurbised ps3, but this means we would lose 20g. Can i buy a new 60g hard disk drive?.
Yes. All you need is a Seagate SATA 2.5" hard drive. It doesn't matter how many GB it has. If you have the 20GB or 60GB model of PS3 for goodness sake keep it!! That model is backwards compatible and will play PS1 and PS2 games. The 40GB unit does not have this luxury. I hope this helps you. Good luck and happy gaming!!

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
