Question about Toshiba e805
Tried to update. But when I press button 2+3 plus reset, just a normal reset occurs. Then activesync says that it cannot connect. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with mine e800. But after many of attempts I was able to make an update. Problem was connection between notebook and PDA. Check connection settings and try it again. It must work.

Tips for a great answer:
note that during the update process, the device will be Hard Reset and
anything that is NOT part of the Operating System (contacts, calendar,
music, etc) will be permanently deleted; always make a point of backing up your device's data on a regular basis!
Before you proceed, please confirm that this software upgrade is a newer version than what is currently loaded on your device. If it is the same version and your device is operating normally, there is no need to reload the software.
determine the software version running on your device, go to Start >
Settings > System Folder > Device Information > Software
Validate that the ROM version is 2.10.502.4 if it is not, you will need to update the software on you device.
Before you run the ROM Upgrade Utility (RUU), make sure you check and do the following first:
