Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the advice from your experts,we realised their was no such software available for the L342i, we always suspected as your last expert advised that we had to email photos to ourself, an expensive excercise, 144 times 25 cents, i should of used my camera instead of a phone. My advise to everyone is make sure software comes with your phone before making a purchase.
Thanks
Bob Beale

How to make sync between my Win XP Laptop & my LG KE 970 ? Thanks in advance & Best Regards, Alaa Safei

1-Do your research. There are many programs available that you can use to sync your LG cell phone and your PC. Go to your favorite search engine on the Web for more information.

2-Choose between the paid syncing devices or the data syncing software. Paid syncing devices require payment before you can use the data syncing service. If you use data syncing software you only need to download it. Whatever you decide, you will need to find a device or software that is compatible with the LG cell phone.

3-Make sure that you have a data cable that is compatible with the LG cell phone. The data cable is required to connect your LG cell phone to your PC. Visit the store where you purchased your LG cell phone or visit an online store such as Cell Phone Shop to find a data cable.

4-Connect your LG cell phone to your PC using the data cable. Follow the instructions that come with the data cable for proper connection.

5-Find the "PC sync menu" from the "Utilities" menu on your LG cell phone. This program allows you to synchronize the "PIM" or Personal Information Management between your computer and your LG cell phone, using a data cable.

6-Press "Ok" in the "PC sync" menu to begin exchanging data. Once you press "Ok "in the PC sync menu the selected data from your LG cell phone will be synchronized with your PC. Wait for the data to completely transfer before disconnecting your LG cell phone.

Hope this helps u :)

If it has a data cable ..you can always download the lg pc suite ..and this tool will let you make all the things you mentioned with almost all Lg phones that have a data cable ...
http://www.software112.com/products/lg-pc-suite.html
You can always do the things you says by downloading them from the internet directly if your connection has a internet capability ..or for to download from your phone ...(photos and stuff ) use the bluetooth to pair with your laptop ..but I think the cable is the fastest and the easiest way ..

How to downloaded pc suite for lg kg195 mobile

I need to transfer .Gif images using the pc
to use them as Wallpaper

- When trying with Contentbanks Lg software
cliking photo button it says only .jpg images can transfer

- So i read instruction booklet it say i can transfer images
by dragging .gif files into mymedia/other
but .gif images can not exceed 30K if to be set as Wallpaper
instruction booklet tell me to use "Pc suite" software instead.

- Ok So i was looking for PC suite so i called LG suport

1time calling Lg:
Pcsuite should be found on the CD provided
everyone here confirm this please check the Cd provided
So i hang up and check cd and Pcsuite was not on it.

3 time calling LG:
Lg told me to call eurocash
they can give me pcsuite software

Calling Eurocash:
They only solve repair or buy things for the phone
not software
i have to call Lg again

4 time calling Lg:
Told them Pcsuite is not on the Cd
So Lg provided me a link for LG softwares
but on that website there was only manual for Lg kg800
and not Software
So LG said they send me a email with Pc suite software
If email dont arive i should call them back about it to get it mailed again
LG said email should arive instantly but 1 hour after
still no email.

5. While still waiting on email I googled on internet
found out Pcsuite is Made by Nokia

6. I called Nokia asking about Pcsuite:
I asked where to download Pcsuite and they gave me link
but they asked what Nokia phone i had
when saying i dont have Nokia phone but a LG phone that says
in the instruction booklet i should use Pc suite
Nokia said they could only help me if i had a nokia phone
that i should ask LG for the Version of pcsuite to use.
(this ofcourse also make sense)

7. So i call LG again asking for what version of pcsuite i should use
But LG dont know and asked me to check the Provided cd again

8. This time i not called LG in my country
but phoned LG UK in europe hoping they could solve my question
on how to get Pcsuite.
Actually they didnt they transfered my call over to an expert
that was same as confused as i was.

The only thing LG Uk could tell me was
to drag&drop the .gif image i want to use as wallpaper
to the Picture folder instead of Others folder
then it would apear as wallpaper, have still to try this
but i doubt a image over 30k would apear as wallpaper
as long as Pcsuite is not used.

So What should i do know
Instruction book tells me to use PCsuite
LG dont know about Pcsuite
and think is Their own Lg software
while NOKIA (which invented Pcsuite) says they only help me if
is for a nokia phone, and There is many versions of Lgsuite
What version to use and do i need to install some Modem driver of nokia too?

Hi I can not transfer my photos from LG Renoir KC910

Hi,i think you need a detailed step by step guide to assist you with the task before you i.e transferring photos from you phone to your laptop.
Below is a detailed solution to your problem;
STEP 1.

Most mobile phones nowadays come standard with a USB data transfer cable and bundled software utility. Check the box that your mobile phone came with for the cable and CD-Rom. If not provided with the software, it may be available as a free download from the manufacturer’s website.
STEP 2.

Once you have located your software CD, check the system requirements necessary to run the software such as hardware specifications, operating systems supported etc. Install the software following on-screen instructions, but do not plug in the USB data cable or phone in just yet, unless the software requests you to do so during the installation process.

STEP 3.

Once the installation is complete, the software would usually require a reboot of the PC before plugging in the mobile phone for the first time. Then connect your mobile phone to the data, and the cable to the USB port of your PC. Several phones may display a message on the mobile display that the phone is now connected to the PC, but if not don’t worry just yet!

STEP 4.

Once connected, start up your mobile phone’s software, and browse through the interface. Most manufacturers offer some form of phone browser where you can browse through the content on your phone, copying files onto, or taking files off the mobile. The software utility may also offer a separate tool for transferring photos and video shot with your mobile, if this is the case use the utility!

STEP 5
.Use the software’s browser or photo utility to transfer your photographs to your PC. Some software tools provide image editing tools as well that will enable cropping, rotation, and sharpening of images once transferred to you PC. Don’t be afraid of referring to the software’s help file incase you get stuck.
The above guide will be of great help to you,as a note of warning;Remember never to unplug or disconnect the data cable from the phone during a data transfer or you could end up damaging your phone or loosing all your data.

Thanks and take care

Cant unload photos from phone to P.C.

Most camera phones have the ability to send photos in the form of an email. Of course, this is the way wireless providers would like you to do it since they get to charge additional fees for sending the picture mail. Normally, wireless providers charge a flat rate to send a picture as an email through their network, but you could also be billed on a per-kilobyte rate for the data used.

To e-mail photos to yourself, you'll need to make sure your phone is configured to send e-mails. Most phones purchased from the carrier are setup out of the box, but you'll need to determine that on a per-case basis. The process for selecting an image to send will vary on the individual phone model, so refer to the instructions in your telephone manual for instructions. When you're ready to send the picture, place your e-mail address in the "To:" field, and hit send. Bluetooth 33f594066a59a60a--32a96d82-11026e4c1f5--7f131573051387.jpgIf your phone is equipped with short-range Bluetooth wireless technology, you can often send images to a similarly equipped notebook or desktop computer. The best part about Bluetooth is that images transferred in this manner are completely free to you. Whether you send 1 picture or 50, it's still free. Not all phones are equipped with Bluetooth, but even less computers come with the technology built-in. However, you can add the technology to your computer by purchasing a USB Bluetooth module from a local electronics retailer. Don't worry about it being expensive, considering most modules retail for about $25.

Sending photos to a computer using Bluetooth is fairly simple... once you pair the phone to your computer. Sometimes the pairing process goes smoothly, and sometimes it doesn't. Either way, once you've gotten the two talking to each other, sending images to and from the phone is a snap. On top of this, Bluetooth allows you to send images and files to other Bluetooth phones without wires or charges.

Not all Bluetooth phones will be able to send images to a computer. Some carriers disable the file transfer profile before the phone is sent to the stores for sale, thereby forcing the users to either buy a data kit or send e-mails. This is what's referred to as the "no free lunch" approach to customer service. It's reasonable for them to assume that most would not spend fifty-dollars on an accessory, so they'll get to charge your account for every picture you send or make a monthly fee on a picture package.
Data Cable Any phone that has a built-in camera will most likely be able to connect to a computer via a USB data connection kit. Data kits are phone specific, so you'll need to make sure you get the correct one for your model phone. The kit includes the cable that plugs your phone into your computer's USB jack, as well as software to assist in transferring files to and from the phone.

Once connected, you'll have the same file transfer abilities as you would with Bluetooth, except with a wire. Unfortunately, you cannot transfer images to anything but a computer, so don't expect to move a picture from your phone to a friend's. Though data connect kits are often more expensive than Bluetooth modules, they do transfer files at a faster speed.
Removable Memory Cards 33f594066a59a60a--32a96d82-11026e4c1f5--7d412120809090.jpgMany newer phones have a slot for an external memory cards, especially models with higher resolution cameras. Since the images are stored on a removable memory card, transferring images to the computer is a breeze. All you need to do is pick up an external memory card reader from a local electronics store. You'll need to know what kind of card your phone uses before you go shopping to make sure the reader you buy supports the correct format.

Once your card reader is in place, merely remove the memory card from your phone, and insert it into the card reader. The computer will recognize the card and assign it a drive letter. Actually moving images is as easy as using the "cut and paste" commands in Windows Explorer. Just reinsert the card back into the phone when you're ready to take new pictures

Hope this may help;

Regards,
