Sims3 is incompatible

I assume you running it on Windows 7 32-Bit. Now before you trying the tips below, do make sure your computer is compatible and meet the Sims 3 requirement.

The Sims 3 can be run on a PC with Windows XP and Vista, and on a Mac. However, there is no official Windows 7-compatible version. This means that Sims 3 will not install on Windows 7 properly.
To fix this error, you need to run Sims 3 in Compatibility Mode. To do that, simply right-click the Sims 3 icon, select Properties and then select Compatibility. Then check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box and select Windows Vista or Windows XP SP3. The game should work fine.

How do I remove (uninstall) the sims 2, sims seasons and sims teen style stuff from my computer?

Hi akach564,
I saw your post wanting to uninstall The Sims 2 and the other Expansions that you have for it, since you did not mention what version of Windows you have I will be giving several way to remove The Sims2 and it's Expansions.
Win XP:
  • Click on Start, then click on Control Panel, in Control Panel look for Add Remove Programs.
  • In Add or Remove Programs it will be Alphabetically arranged look for The Sims or Sims2 and you should see the other Expansions underneath it , on the right side of The Sims2 and its Expansions you will see a button that will say change / remove.
  • Click on Change/Remove this will prompt you if you are sure you want to uninstall this program.
  • Just click on YES since we are uninstalling the program The Sims2.
  • Do the same for the Expansions of The Sims2 to uninstall them.
If the Sims2 and its Expansions are not located anywhere in the Add or Remove Programs then you will need to manually uninstall them one by one from the location where the folders of each is located C: or which ever location / folder you installed them.
In each folder of the Sims2 / Expansions you will need to click open each folder and look for the uninstall icon and double click on it to uninstall The Sims2 to the same for the Expansions of The Sims2 for uninstalaltion.
Win Vista / Win7:
  • Click on Start, then click on Control Panel, in Control Panel look for Programs it will say uninstall programs under it click on uninstall programs this will open Programs and Features.
  • In Programs and Features it will be Alphabetically arranged look for The Sims or Sims2 and you should see the other Expansions underneath it , on the right side of The Sims2 and its Expansions you will see a button that will say change / remove.
  • Click on Change/Remove this will prompt you if you are sure you want to uninstall this program.
  • Click on YES to Uninstall the Sims2 and do the same for the Sims2 Expansions program/game.
If the Sims2 and its Expansions are not located anywhere in the Add or Remove Programs then you will need to manually uninstall them one by one from the location where the folders of each is located C: or which ever location / folder you installed them.

I hope that this will be of help Uninstalling The Sims2 and it's Expansions game from your computer.

Sims3 compatibility

You can go to this site to test wether games will run on your PC: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest Just pick Sims 3 from the list, install the ActiveX control (it's safe) and wait a little. The site should tell you wether you can run the game. I hope this helps, Yannick.

Sims2 installation to EXTERNAL DRIVE

Sorry but I can't get round this either. The reason I thnk is the Start menu and the shortcut links which all add up to 324mb in order to access the software of SIMS 2 and the programes it shares files with.

My problem is that when I put it on external it has flaws in the game such as no concreate. Blured pixals and bits missing.
