Please check the mother board CD,You will have sound drivers in it,If you do not have the motherboard CD,Please find out the manufacturer and the model number and go to the appropriate vendor site and download driver and install
Hello there: The first thing i would check is the power supply if this is not working it needs to be replaced Also you can unplug the power from the computer and open the case and find the power supply cord that connects to the mother board and dissconnect ti from the mother board , now press in on the computer power button and hold for 30 seconds and do the same for the reset button if it has one this will release any (ESD that may have built up ) now just reconnect the motherboard cord that you dissconnected earlier and plug in the power cord to the computer and try to restart OK? I hope that this has been very helpful for you Best regards Michael
1.Definitely you can get your drivers free. just go to ur motherboard manufacturing site, click on download section click on drivers, enter mother board number and download the drivers free.
2. If you don't know the motherboard drivers name and exact number then connect to internet, uninstall all the old video and audio drivers. then when pop up window says that new hard driver is found then click it and it will automatically install drivers from net
Thanks & Regards
The sound quality built in to most mother boards is not the best quality. It is a compromise. The best solution is to install a high quality sound card in an available slot.
For video quality, it is the same issue when it comes to high quality video.
Before installing the new sound card, uninstall the existing sound drivers and sound software for the built in sound as necessary. You may have to go in to the BIOS set-up and dissable the mother board's built in sound. It is best to consult the instructions for *********** board to know the details for the particular mother board. You should contact the dealer for your computer to have proper details.
Turn off the computer, and disconnect the AC cord. Open the case, and install the new sound card according to the instructions that come with it.
When the computer re-starts, it should tell you that it found new hardware. Go through the installation procedure. There will be drivers and some software and drivers that must be installed.
If you are not used to this type of procedure, it would be best for you to take the computer to a computer service place and have them do the installation for you.
