THE AMPS PERFORMCE IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE STATE OF THE BATTERY AND THE CONNECTION FROM THE AMP TO THE BATTERY, CONNECT THE AMP DIRECTLY TO THE BATTERY TO SEE IF THE SAME PROBLEM EXIST OUTSIDE THE CAR

I have 2 12" Pioneer TS-W3003D4 subs and I wanted to know can a Pioneer GM-D8500M run them?

pretty much any amplifier can run any sub, so the question is not weather or not the amp can run them, it is how well the amp can run them. Those Pioneer subs are dual VC models and are rated at 600 watts RMS. You have two, so that would be about 1200 watts of RMS power you will need in order to power the subs correctly and to optimum efficiency. The amplifier model you have is rated at 600 watts RMS for a single channel at the lowest stable impendence. That power coming from the amp will be split two ways between the subs and divide the power to each speaker. So each speaker will be receiving 300 watts of power. So in short yes, your amp will power those subs, but they will only be operating at half their rated power. Your amp will be running at maximum power so it might get a little warm after a while. make sure you wire it correctly and keep the amp well ventilated if you decide to push it that hard. if you need help on how to wire them search the web for wiring options by typing into Google " how to wire two dual voice coil subs into amp". There you will find plenty of illustrations to help you decide.

Are subfoofer ts-w308d2 and amplifier GM-5300T compatible with each other?

Yes. You will be able to run this setup with the sub bridged across both channels of the amp, which will give you more power (which the sub will be able to handle: 380 watts rms), or with the sub wired to a single channel, which will give you less power (125 watts rms). The sub can handle 400 watts rms.

Car subwoofer just past half volume cuts off the amp

Assuming there is no short, or lose ground wire somewhere inside the box, diodes( in the amp) are fine, you might be overheating it by not allowing it to get good ventilation. This can be a big deal on some low end Chinese amps. Or the speakers are blown , or your Resistors (in the amp) are bad, but for arguments sake.
Most people don't use the proper size and or conductivity types of wiring, for pushing high amperage Think about it like this, Watts (power) =.Amps (energy) x Voltage (pressure) Resistance or Ohm's (amount) determines how much Wattage will go in or out, Ohms = Volts x2 / Watts.
What gauge wire are you using on your setup?

Help with hookup

I am assuming you are driving a sub-woofer. Run the amp bridged at 4 ohms. So a DVC(dual voice coil) 8 ohm sub with voice coils wired in parallel would give you a 4 ohm load. Just make sure the sub can handle at least 300 Watts Peak.

Power pyramid subs smoking i think the jl 1000/1 is tuned wrong..

If the sub is new, they need to be broken in.

All sub woofers need a break in period of about 5 to 6 hours at medium volume.
The reason is because the glue needs to be cured. This is done by the heat from working.

If you are giving it too much volume too soon, you are burning the glue.

Back off the subs and only play them at medium volume for about a week.

What kind amp should be use for ts-w307d2 subwoofer speaker?

Nice sub, i have 2 308d4s in my car. Okay this sub is a dual coil 2 ohm. so to get best bang for your buck you'll want a 2 channel amp and bridge it. Your sub is 400 watts RMS, So you'll want an amp that has the same rating. I'd recommend the pioneer GM-5400t. Then wire your voice coils in parallel, and bridge your amp, you'll get 380 watts RMS, which is perfect for this sub. If you have questions on wiring or anything you can just ask. thanks, i hope this helps
