Question about Lenovo 3000 N100 0768 - Pentium Dual Core T2060 1.6 GHz - 15.4in. TFT PC Desktop
Last year I purchased Lennovo Y 500 lap top and same was working in good condition. But my son one day reformatted the same with Windows CD of lap top. After doing all steps, it was noticesed later that number of programmes such as MS office , Lennovo shuttle centre , etc remained hidden. Ther is lot of data in hidden files . PL guide me how to retreive that data.
See if there is a D: partition on the laptop. If there is, you can find everything there. A service partition has been included with newer systems. You can access your service partition during the startup process
A set of recovery CDs or DVDs can be created in the Rescue and Recovery predesktop area. A CDRW drive or CDRW/DVDRW drive and writable media are required.
When the system first starts, the following message will be displayed on a blank screen:
To Start the Product Recovery program, press F11
This message will stay on the screen for approximately 2 seconds, and it will be there every time the machine is started from a powered off state. If the F11 key is pressed while the message is displayed, then the system will enter the Service partition.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
