My rear speakers/subwoofers aren't working in my 2001 Buick Century. How do I fix them?

check to make sure the fade button or know is set to the middle so that all 4 speakers should function normally. If they are still not playing you can disconnect the speaker and try to test it on something else. If you can get long speaker wire try connecting it to a home stereo or something like that just as a test.

If they work the problem is not your speakers, its either in the wires connected to the stereo or the head unit itself.

Good Luck

Here is where to get a replacement waterproof remote - With these marine radios the faceplate is usually the first thing to fail from water damage. Not that your is water damaged but because of this finding a used one is impossible on the net. You will have to contact Jensen for to see if they have the faceplate available separately. Good luck.

How can unlock protect for kenwood sku me10252? It's car cd player, pls help me! Thanks!

there is no code for unlocking protect. if it is in protect, you have either shorted speaker wires or speakers or a bad output ic in the deck itself. try checking your speakers, make sure the terminals aren't shorted to the chassis or door skin. also make sure you have no bare spots on your speaker wires.

I dont knw wat to use to fill the whole in my l7

Fiberglass insulation works well, but handling it is no fun. Also, besides the fiberglass particles getting in your skin.they become airborne with high velocity ported cabinets and are hazardous to your lungs in a car.
A better solution is the white fluffy insulation that you can get at arts and crafts stores.
It is an excellent damping material.
Before installing that material, put some dynamat or equivalent on the sides of the box and the back as well to dampen the box.
have fun...

Is there a product you can buy to waterproof speakers?

There is not really. Not waterproof. The best solution for that is to buy Marine grade audio equiptment. JBL Marine Audio is the best stuff out there.

My car radio, Pioneer DEH-P4750MP, 2 years old is connected to the 12v battery system on our boat, and has just suddenly started flashing when turned on. We cant turn it off or input anything. Have to take...

well, it might have something to do with the fact taht it was designed to be installed in a car. theres no waterproofing or weatherproofing. you probably got water in the unit somehow and it shorted. i did the same thing with my pioneer FH-P404 and it cost me more to repair than to replace.

Front Speaker Replacement

you have to take off the door panel usually there is screws inside or around the handle then sometimes some around the edge of the door where the door striker meets look for caps thaty pop out and make sure all screws are out then the rest pops off take a flat head screw driver or something similar and put it between the metal part of door and panel right there close to where the door latch is (where the striker plate meets) then get your fingers up under and do small jerks where the window is slide up and run door handle thru opening
