Can't get camera to record on the sd card

There may be no fix for this problem, and there doesn't seem to be a way to get and update the firmware to fix the problem. I bought four of these cameras for a cruise to share with kids and their spouses in our group. The binoculars are great with nice clear viewing and good magnification. Two of them showed 8MB of internal memory, the other two showed 10MB of memory. Unfortunately, that's where the 5-Star rating ends. Pictures on a tripod are passable, hand-held pics are awful -- blurry -- and the color palette way off both ways. The two 10MB cameras would not recognize my 32MB SD card. The two 8MB cameras did recognize the 32MB card but showed only 32MB total usable, not 40MB that I expected. The two 10MB cameras allow a total of, maybe, 20 pics since the SD card is not recognized and each pic is between 400KB and 700KB. No, I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

No memory card, do I need a card?

Your camera has 32MB of internal memory, so technically you do not need a memory card, but 32MB will not store many still images, let alone video. You really need something like this to go in it:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208293

That will give you 8192MB compared to the 32MB built in, and let you shoot a lot more video.

Good Luck!

I have intel duo proccer pc but when i play a game a massage is coming for x draw and low vidio memory tell me what i do

in VGA is fully incompatible with that game ( most of games).
32mb is very low memory for a VGA nowadays.
you better to change your VGA with a Radeon HD 4570.

a low price and very good VGA.

My Kodak Easyshare V1233 comes on stating "Interna; Memory Filled" I went in and cleaned it. But it seems like I only get 5 pictures that I can take after that. I take the five (the number in...

The V1233 has 32MB of internal memory. At 12MP, each image file is probably about 5 or 6MB in size. 32MB of memory will only hold 5 6MB files.

To take more pictures, insert a memory card into the card slot.

Just bought praktica dpix 810z I do not understand 32mb memory internal also sdcard compatable these items are written on the box are they in the camera if so how do I tell ?

It means the camera has a 32mb capacity internal memory. This allows you to take pictures with no card in the camera. You won't be able to take very many pictures and most people have trouble with the internal memory once they start to use it. I recommend you don't. Instead, buy an SD memory card. The owner's manual should tell you the maximum size your camera will allow.

How many pictures does a cannon mmcplus memory card hold mmc-32mh

This depends on the resolution of each image and the quality with which they are saved. An 800x600 jpeg image at quality 90 is approximately 128kb, so a 32mb card could hold about 256 of these. Another example,
my nikon saves out a 3028x2002 image as a 2.5mb jpeg, so a 32mb card would barely hold 12 of these size images.

My new 87480 camera does not keep any pictures.

Hey!

Remember that your camera actually has 2 memories.
You are using an external 2GB SD card, but there is also an on-board internal 32MB SDRAM.

Make sure that you have selected the correct memory in the camera's menu. 32MB is relatively small and may be full if you have selected it by mistake.

Have fun.

Which memory stick ?

Several of the Sony cameras require a high speed memory stick for 640 x 480 30fps movies. Here is a clipping from the Sony P150 specifications: "MPEG VX Fine with Audio (640 x 480 at 30fps), (MPEG VX Fine requires Memory Stick PRO media)"
