E5 = The ink cartridges are not installed or a non-supported ink
cartridge is installed, or the ink cartridges are not installed
properly. Install cartridges properly. Have you been using refilled cartridges?

Hello!
E5 means that the ink cartridges are not installed/ a non-supported ink cartridge is installed, or the ink cartridges are not installed properly.
Hold the "resume" button (triangle in circle) on your printer for about 7-10 seconds for each cartridge, that should reset them.
Hope that will help!

Epson printer CX9300 error B73 cannot recognise ink cartridge

A clone cartridge is a type of third-party ink cartridge that uses an identical chip to the original ink cartridge. People buy cloned cartridges to save money, since original cartridges are more expensive. However, sometimes the Epson printer does not recognize the cloned ink cartridge. After you install the cartridge, you might receive a message that says "An ink cartridge cannot be recognized." In this case, you will have to disable the Epson printer monitor.

Instructions

Install your cloned ink cartridge into the Epson printer.

    • 2

Go to "Start > Control Panel" on your computer.

    • 3

      Double-click on "Printer."

    • 4

Right-click on the icon of your Epson printer and choose "Printer Preferences" at the bottom of the dialog box.

    • 5

I just replaced my blue cartridge a couple weeks ago. Seemed like it wasn't time for that. But now the printer says the cartridge is empty again. I refuse to replace the blue cartridge every couple of...

The printer could be reading the cartidge wrong, if i were you i would just keep using the blue one until you see it stop printing blue on your papers. If it stops quickly, then you probably need to check your printer settings to see if you have it set to print the color black using a mix of your colored ink cartridges.
Thumbs up if this helps! Thanks

Hp 02 cartridges problem

hi markyw77 it seems to be a widespresd problem with orginal and non-orginal cartridges. (I have had a lot of printers brought in and have had to be sent back to Hp) .

If you can I would advise sending your printer back to Hp. You can say that you have had refil's in but to avoid arguements I would say that you have only had orginals in.

Time has nothing to do with how long a toner cartridge will last. What is the page count on the cartridge?
Don't expect too much from it if it is the original cartridge that came with the printer as they have a very short fill.
