So I got a new hard drive installed from Dell. Everytime I try to load Microsoft Office (even a new version downloaded from Microsoft's website) it crashes the computer. I get the blue screen that says...

there is a registry error in your HD, you need to rectify that by installing any registry cleaner(try Tuneup Utility...downlaod from piratebay)...if that does not solve the issue....only a low level format can clean the HD...format your C drive only if you have multiple partitions in the HD

Error 1316 occurred while down loading adobe 9.1 what is wrong. Wiil not let me down load any registry fix.

Hi upperroom50,

This message usually means a previous installation of a software is getting in the way of the new installation. It's kinda nutty that this would cause a problem, but we live in a nutty world. The fix is to download a free program from Microsoft that will totally and completely remove the old software. Then the new version can load unimpeded.

1. Download: Microsoft Windows Installer Cleanup Utility
2. Choose Save file option in the popup dialogue box
3. A File by name Msicuu.exe will be downloaded on your system
4. Run the Msicuu.exe application. This will install the program.
5. Run the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility file you just loaded (Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up or C:\Program Files\Windows Installer Clean Up double click msicuu.exe
6. You will see window listing various applications.
7. Select the offending program, then click Remove. You'll see the warning box, select OK. The utility will remove all the parts of the program from your computer.
8. Restart your computer, then try loading the new version of the software.

Good Luck, and don't forget to leave a rating,

Thanks

Mark

Microsoft office outlook, word, excel all stop working-shut down

you can try fixing the problem by diting your registry.
1. go to your desktop.
2. on your keyboard, hit the "windows key" (between ALT an CTRL) together with the "R"
3. a little box should pop up. In the box, type "regedit" and press enter.
4. registry editor should open up. (it looks something like windows explorer)
5. navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Office\ Outlook\ Addins\ Microsoft.VbaAddinForOutlook.1
6. Right click on the "Microsoft.VbaAddinForOutlook.1" and delete it.
7. close registry editor,
8. restart PC and run outlook!

Office 2007

sounds like a HD problem run error correcting utility, and defrag the hard drive, cleaning the registry helps too.

also make sure you have shut off any virus program some dont like it when a program is being installed especially norton ineternet security.

check the disk make sure theres no scratches on the cd.

also bad memory will cause errors. try removing a chip from the computer and installing. ive notice when installing OS's like win xp if you have a bad memory chip it will not install.

Also you can try a different CD rom drive, the one you have could be failing.

Good luck
