Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
>pop of the HD (yes)
>Risk(some) The only thing you would have to do is "after you reset
your xbox " is download the lateset version of live which if your on-line it is automatic. (if you accept the download)
>Make sure before reset back to default to write down any settings that may make it easier for you to get back on Live
>IP address-DNS- etc.
>Before you go back on-line try to play the game disc to see if you can play
>if not it could be the drive that they installed is bad
> Or the software was encode incorrect...but that is not something that you just download from xbox site. You have to send that in to you guess it or a qualified xbox Repair tech.
> I asked if the xbox you sent in was the same one you received
because in most cases and my own they sent me a replacement.
> This does not really narrow anything down accept for maybe they replace more than just the drive and there was a bad sector or something with the software. I did some research on your problem and I have not had any luck with you issue. I wish I could give you a quick fix but...nothing from MS is easy
So Please REMOVE THE HARD DRIVE 1st

Have you got the internet connected to your Xbox 360? If so, i have two relevent answers:
1: Don't press update, i've heard that the update is not a necessity to playing the game.
2: Contact the store that you rented it from or; Contact microsoft and tell them the problem.
If you haven't got the internet connected to your xbox 360 then it WON'T work.
