I/P(INPUT) 120 VAC 60 HZ / 23 VA

Loud humming sound

Make sure that the input connection ground is good. If that does not cure the loud hum then you have a power supply issue.

I have lost the power supply to my speakers, the only info i have is it's 12v AC/DC I need to know what is the amp and polarity is, to find a replacement.

You need to know what the wattage of the speakers are, polarity is generally standard. There is a small formula too work out what the current rating is. This you can find on the internet. Just search for Voltage , watts to amp converter.
Hope this helps

I plugged power supply into 220 volt. do you

check out for the main fuse in system, and if you have 110v, rating..then the transfomer for the device is damaged, just replace the transfomer and on the system again..the whole system is not damaged, could be the transfomer, and the fuse.

I need a new plug for 12V in AC/DC

I will presume you mean power supply

In which case a "universal power supply" will do the job fine so long as you remember 2 important things.

1. Voltage this you already know and lots of universals go up to 12V

2. Current rating. this is just as important as 1. check on your speakes or old PSU that information should be on there somwhere nd itwould lok like 250mA or 500mA or whatever the rating is. it is important to make sure that your replacement is the same or even a little higher if your speakers are 250mA then it is safe to go to 500 mA.

If you just want to solder a new end on then radio shack, tandy, the source are just a few of the places you will find what you want.

Do I need a battery? What is my power source?

Well first off if there is a power cord that goes in the front then it should be powered by that. Second of all you should have a power switch on the front of the speakers to turn it on and volume control.
