When I turn the dryer on it seems fine but when I hit the start button I hear a couple of clicks and it doesnt start up.

If you can turn the drum by hand then it is not jammed and the broken belt switch may be tripped. Take off the top of the dryer by removing the two screws in back (requires a T-20 torx bit avail. at any hardware store).

The belt should be visible on top of the drum. If the belt is broken it will not be there.
Even if the belt is O.K. the switch could still be tripped.
Un plug the dryer and remove the back panel. Under the drum to your left you should see the motor shaft and the Idler or Belt tensioner. The Idler is a small pastic wheel on a sping loaded metal arm that is about 6 in long. This piece tightens the belt. At the bottom of the Idler you will see a small plastic block with wires going to it. This is the broken belt switch. When the belt breaks the idler is pulled against the plunger on the switch, preventing the dryer from starting. Press the other plunger on the oposite side of switch in to reset the switch. you shoud hear a faint "click" if it was tripped. You must also reset the switch if you replace the belt.
