The problem is most likey that the family tree maker file you have created requires the same program to be able to open it.

In order to use the file on your husbands computer you will need to install the same program on his computer and then you should be able to open it with no problem.

First things first:
1) Uninstall the webroot sofware
2) restart your computer
3) depending on your OS, if win 7 , 8, 10
you have to system restore point from the day before you install webroot.
4) restore and restart, problem solve!

have you any software that came with the camera cds?.
have they been installed on to pc.
open them up when camera plug in to pc and see if it detects the pics .
