Question about Toshiba e740 Pocket PC
I have a Toshiba e740 model no. PA3170U-3P05. The Toshiba works fine and is a great PDA. The problem is that it loses all of the data if left for a couple of days. I've got the main battery taped into the body to ensure that it does not work lose. Is this a problem with some internal battery? Is this a problem with the main LiIon battery? Some other fault? How do I find out what market i.e. US or EU/Uk this machine was made for?

The problem is based on the backup battery and the Battery charging Electronic of the Pda. The only chance for you is to contact a Toshiba Service Partner for a repair of the Pocket PC. The Mainboard of the PDA has to be replaced.
