Problems with speakers and microphone on 6515

Hi, I got some trouble, my speakers and my microphone just stopped working a few days ago. The only time the speaker works is when someone calls. Kind of strange... Somebody knows anything, contacted support yesterday, nothing there...

If it is a headset related issue try blowing into the socket also. My 6515 did have a dry circuit when I first got it, so the speaker would work on occasions...HP service centre fixed it properly

This solution worked for me once but not when it happened again a couple of months later. I think the switch at the bottom of the headphone jack might be faulty.

Try plugging the ear bud into the bottom an unplugging it again it worked for me.

Hey I have an hdmx jam xt extreme wireless Bluetooth speaker & after a few seconds after I have paired with mine or a friends phone the music will stop playing, this sometimes doesn't happen if the volume...

To me it looks as if the battery is not charged ok. I'm not sure if you can monitor the battery voltage, but if you could, and you saw the voltage drop bellow a certain voltage and the speaker stopped there, and you could repeat this that would be the case. But perhaps you just charge the battery and discharge it a few times, before you panic. Some batteries only start working with full power after a few charges.

Hi I bought Razer Mako speakers few days ago, and from the start i've got this problem... The speakers stop working (there's no sound) after few minutes (from 7 to 15) of playing, the same for different...

I had the same problem today. Don't know what caused it. But I turned off the Makos using the switch behind the subwoofer waited about a minute then turned them back on, problem solved.

Hope this helps you and others who encounter this problem.

Loud noise from speakers when laptop closed/standby

Hi there.
Your microphone is on, and when you close the lid it is closer to the speaker. It needs
a loud noise (like closing the lid faster) and it enters into a feedback loop.
We need to find a way to make the microphone not play back.
Try left clicking on the speaker icon in the bottom right of the screen, and click playback
options. Here mute the microphone, and see if it solves your problem.

Good luck

Dell inspiron1525 laptop trouble

This is going to be a problem either with the sound card malfunctioning after the machine warms up, or feed back from the speakers due to a wiring issue. Either way, this is a hardware problem, and you shouldn't have this or any problem with the machine, especially with it only being 10 days old. Take it back for an exchange. Demand an exchange and don't let them give you the run around. When you get the new machine, you will see that you shouldn't have any problems with it for years to come. Also, don't let this bother you about Dell machines, they're one of the best machines on the market. Just like everything else, there are a few lemons.

Can not get internal microphone to work

The Inspiron 6000 doesn't have an internal microphone.
It only has an microphone jack, for use with an external microphone.

Good luck

Another speaker problem

This is because your inbuilt microphone is probably set at boost, and picking up the sound of speakers. Go to speaker icon in task bar an select 'Open volume control' and click on options, then advanced controls, then click mute on the microphone slider control.
