Question about NEC VT47 Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

NEC VT47 Cropped image on left side

This projector seems to work well except that the image is cropped on the left side. This is a problem when I use it to demonstrate software to my classroom the START BUTTON in windows XP (lower left) is completely cut off. The mouse goes beyond the frame, and its like groping around in the dark to find the buttons to click on.

Hi. You can press the auto adjust button on the projector and the image should return back into view. If not then try another resolution on your computer as it may not be compatible with the projector.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My projector only projects the first image from my computer. When I fix the connection, it freezes on the new first image.

There is a "freeze" function available on the PR52 remote. Please make sure this is turned off / disabled.

NEC Overhead Projector

Hi Forrest

This sounds like a damaged Mainboard.

First check if your Projector is still under warranty as this is a very expensive part to have replaced.

Also check if it has any effect whatsoever using another PC Cable.

Hope this is of help.

NEC VT47 Blink Sequence but not comming up.

If it is a lamp error try this:
When the lamp exceeds 2100 hoursof service, the projector cannot turn on and the manu is not displayed. Do the following:
For VT670/VT470 Press the help button on the remote control for a minimum of ten seconds.
For VT570/VT47 Press and hold the power and the exit buttons on the remote control simultaneously for a minimum of ten seconds. When the lamp time clock is reset to zero, the lamp indicator goes out. Hope this helps! :]
