I have just spent two weeks trying to get help from hp assistance. Please understand my fuse is short! I have an hp psc 2100 series all-in-one printer. - My operating system is XP - two weeks ago I was printing a project on a deadline and had to change my black ink cartridge. I did so. (I do not refill my ink cartridges. I purchase hp 56 black cartridges from Office Depot brand.) - This printer was purchased in 2003 from Office Depot. This printer has worked just fine until I changed the cartridge on Monday,August 18,2008. - I could not make it print. It goes through the motions and spits out a blank page. - The color cartridge prints the yellow alignment page, but no black. I inserted a brand new black cartridge - no change. - I retraced all the check-steps from the manual, no change. - Indications on "My Computer" are that my compute is online and ready. - Per your "Experts" - I have uninstalled and installed the printer program a number of times. I overcame a few installation errors. Now I can get the 2 alignment pages printed out, but when I place the yellow sheet on the glass and press "Enter", I always get "Busy." I am very close to tossing this computer and purchasing another brand. Because it was working just fine before I had to change cartridges, I am loathe to believe the PRINTER needs to be replaced. I'm asking for help with this. Please reply to me if you have a valid suggestion; I've had enough "stop refilling your cartridges" suggestions. samanamber

Have I at anytime offered a solution. I received the email that told me off really well, but I just can't remember if I offered any solution at all. YOu changed cartridges and now you can not print. Have I told you to try a simple reset?

Turn off and unplug the printer.
Open the paper Jam door.
Gently push the printer roller ( a large roller) forward or upward until it clicks.
Close the printer door.

Unplug from the CP

Wait several minutes.
Plug your computer back into power

Reconnect it to the Pc. Turn it on.

Did this help at all? Please let me know right away if you are online, because I am only very temporarily on line. My computer was fried by a trojan that got throughmy Trend Micro. Don;t ask me how. Anyway, I am barely running, and wanted to get back to you. I am just about to delete every proggy on my computer and reinstall the op sys. I'll wait a bit to see if I hear from you. I have been offline since the day I received that last message from you.

Try unplugging it. Leave it unplugged for a few hours. Plug it back in.

You can download the drivers for your HP PSC 1200 series printer from the below link---

HP PSC 1200 Printer drivers/Setup

After opening this link select your printer model number, then select the operating system you are using. Now, download the drivers and install them to your system, restart the system and you are good to go.

Printer wont print

Just a suggestion, if you had another printer connected before this one - or the default printer is still set as default - when you click, ' Print' you'll need to select your HP 1315 as the printer you want to use to print your document.

Describe your HP PSC 1510 All-in-One Printer

If you have already worked through this article, (or this one) try resetting the printer by following instructions given here.
(Please note that cartridges are supposed to be replaced while the machine is ON.) (See here.)

Each time i start my printer( HP PSC 1410) it prints a test page.

Buy a Brother 2100 All in one for 169 or less then goto 123 inkjet and get color cartridges for only 4.50 each (and the large ones too not dinky cartridges) plus for the price of a new printer you get the ink in it which would cost you the price of ink anyway for the HP so think as it as a free printer - for 50 dollars I got 3 black 2 majenta 2 yellow and 2 blue and they were sent to me through general mail us to canada so no duties but did take 4 weeks or more

Using JETCET Print with OKI C5200n Printer

The OKI 5200 is a 'GDI' or Windows only printer and does not support PCL or PostScript languages.
Most if not all of the printers listed support either PCL or PS or an inkjet based language.
I'm afraid you will not be able to print the the 5200 without it's driver loaded on the PDA.
If the 5200 supported PCL you would be able to choose any of the
Color HP Deskjets.
